How to spot fake Alien Thierry Mugler EDP perfume
For the first time the smells are similar and even more, the fake perfume persists even for 2 hours ... but after these hours it no longer has the strength of the original.
The original Alien Thierry Mugler perfume costs 100 euros, the price of the fake is between 30 - 70 euros.
The box is strikingly similar, it differs only in the light purple hue of the ALIEN text (only if you bring them close enough you can see, as well as on the side, the original has a picture with glass that can be refilled and fake The bottom of the box is engraved with the serial number, but the recycle mark and the fire mark are incorrectly positioned on the bottom left (see video), the text with the country of manufacture no longer exists on the original box, compared to the fake one that shows this.
If we open the box, we notice that the original one has a QR code, this code, if you scan it, should take you directly to the official perfume page.
The fake glass of Alien Thierry Mugler perfume has a metal at the bottom, this metal is not found in the original bottle.
The serial number is present on the back of the original Alien bottle (top - back), if this safety element does not exist, or is not identical to the serial number engraved on the bottom of the box, then you are faced with a fake perfume.
I'm not sure if the left one is really a fake...I think this is just an older version!

Before L'Oréal purchased the company, it would have the whole name on the box, Thierry Mugler.
This is not correct one is the original and the other is the new Alien that L'Orea is pushing as Alien they don't smell the same .

I'm not saying the "fake" one is real because I do not know where you get it from. But the way you compare the 2 and point out the differences is actually wrong. All the details, the way the text is placed on box, the circle envelops, the way the bottle look, etc on the "fake" are exactly how it is for Alien a couple years ago before the packaging & bottle are changed. All the details here is valuable only for comparing old & new packaging of Alien, not to spot real & fake. You should do more research before making a video with misguided information like this. The only thing from your video that maybe suggest the "fake" is fake is the printing quality of the word Alien at 01:59.
exactly! This brand has been sold and bought out. The box has been changed multiple times. It's actually really confusing if a random person doesn't know the history of their business! This video actually confused more people because both front/back/sides were at one time the real. But because of the change in ownership, the box changed.

Yesterday I bought this perfume at Marshall (from everything you say it looks original) it cost me $79.99 but when I use it the smell doesn't really last an hour on my skin. I'll return it tomorrow and it's better to pay $150 at Macy's

They reformulated this one is the original version the other is newer that’s why the bottles are different I checked your code for the “fake” one online and it’s real 🤷🏻♀️
anyone can put a serial number... that does not make it the original perfume.... the serial number must be engraved, not painted

@@emmeauplease it seems you know about this. I bought Alien (refillable )from Vinted and all looks original except it doesn’t have the engraved code on the bottle. It seems to be the 2005 version according of what I read also the Circle code from the box was accepted when I registered it on the Mugler website. Do you know if there is a version with no code?
@@deborajr sorry just saw this comment, is there a code anywhere maybe the box? I believe all perfumes regardless of the brand have a code either on the box or bottle, but I can also be wrong. I will search about the 2005 version and can comment back to you if I find anything else. I do know the bottles change a lot and maybe if they reformulate they move the codes I can also check my bottles because I have the same in different sizes and there is differences

I bought one from Walgreens it was fake. I had one from Dillards and went home and compared them. When you take a good look it's pretty clear it's a fake.

The fake it shows, in all the Alien Mugler reviews I looked at, the bottles are like that and they even have The Circle.
It's right. The real version has the right shape of the new bottle, fake one has the old shape. Old version has logo with "Thierry Mugler" on box, so here the fake is fake. Also Alien label's color and lettering doesn't match.

Tatis, eu comprei um Angel falso no Mercado Livre, quis morrer de tanta raiva, mas consegui devolver. Hoje eu prefiro comprar na Sephora (mas infelizmente é difícil encontrar Alien/Angel por lá) porque a plataforma da Beleza na Web permite que revendedores estejam lá comercializando sem qualquer credibilidade da procedência do produto. Quem não conhece, compra achando que é original.

A lot of details that you show with the 'fake' are the same with the 'real'. As on the bottle the large cap, under the bottle the gold point continuous on the bottom. The box you show with the 'fake' is actually the same or even a real one.

porque esta falsificación se vende... y para demostrarte que te equivocas cuando dices que las dos botellas son originales... mira las falsificaciones y dime dónde está el número de serie grabado... cuando aparezca otro tipo de fake haré un vídeo.... No es mi culpa que los que hacen falsificaciones no añadan algo nuevo...

yes, the old bottles didn't have... but it is unlikely that you will buy a perfume that is 7 or 8 years old

the serial number on the back of the bottle must be engraved ... take something sharp and scratch it ... if it is erased it is with paint and it is a fake parcum ... if it remains it is engraved and it is original
