    This is great. I like your channel and content. I'm glad CZcams recommended this to me.

    Interesting. You should throw an old button back in and compare.

      I did do a video already with the old buttons. I could tell right away that these buttons made a difference.

    GoldLeaf is the way. So smooth and won’t ever squeak like the olds eventually do.
    The best way to show off the input delay would be a slow-mo footage, I feel. You hear the solenoid activate, and the onscreen flipper move. I’ve shown that off with the original ALP. While in realtime it doesn’t look or feel too bad, it demonstrates it is there.

      With the solenoids off you can still see there is lag there but it is better. I am able to play The Addams Family a lot better now.

    I like the green buttons fit the theme so much better

      I thought they same thing. In person the buttons are just about the right shade of green as the cabinet.

    I installed the same gold-leaf pushbuttons 2 weeks ago, and there was no improvement in the lag of the flippers on the Adams Family table. The boards red light does flash at the exact same time when you push the button. I will say the other games do play better with the new gold leaf buttons, alot smoother and less clicky noise. I have ordered the other style Leaf Switch and Red Pushbuttons, the ones that papabrad installed. You can see the actual contacts. I am skeptical that there will be very little improvement even with those.

      The first time I played TAF i could tell there was a little improvement. Zen's COO came out today and said they are addressing that flipper lag so hopefully we see something soon.

      I do too. When your playing it you can really tell the difference.

    T you have to measure the flipper lag in ms during live gameplay; not just a static table. I do see a little flipper lag still but much better than without the gold leaf’s.

    • @arcadetalk
      @arcadetalk  Před 5 měsíci

      I know I do but I really don't want to go into that. The lag is still there but a little better. Zen has to do the rest. There is no way around the lag without Zen fixing it in their software.

    Carlo approves of this video, esp since he told you about the buttons and wrench, BUT, people do NOT use power tools when working with these arcade cabinets and vpins, the risk to strip is too great, knows better, don't be a and strip out a screw.

    • @arcadetalk
      @arcadetalk  Před 5 měsíci +1

      To much work to use non power tools. I worked on arcade cabinet long enough so I can use power tools sucka. I have not striped anything out.

    Still looks like lag when you release the flipper for sure you should try the leaf buttons

    • @arcadetalk
      @arcadetalk  Před 5 měsíci

      Yeah, still lag but it is a little better. The first time I played TAF with the new buttons I could tell a difference.
