**Please be careful and read all epoxy directions. There have been stories where people are allergic and didn't know it. I mix my epoxy outside. The 2 chemicals are reacting to each other in the mixing so be careful. - Jak na to + styl

This is very pretty. Anytime I forget to remove the tape, I find it easy to use the heat gun with the little shovel piece.

This is a nice looking geode. I started using the glue as well and find it works great. I did not think of covering the glue lines with the gold pen. Great idea.

How warm is the room? I've found the warmer my room, the longer work time I have with the resin.

Yes in the summer here it is very hot and I do have to be careful for flashing. In the winter it's about 70 in the room so that is a little less work time.

Hi Emma, first thank you very much for the kind words. When I started recording my art I was so worried about if people would even like watching the process. Second I hadn't heard about TriArt Liquid Glass before. I did some looking around and it does look like you should be able too. Looks like you can mix paint with it. I don't know if it yellows overtime - maybe not? Something to give a try on a smaller scale and test and see.

your welcome. Only paint would be the parts using the paint pen. The rest was resin and paint mix or can use mica /resin

Yes but only a little at a time when adding because it can change the resin if you add too much. I start with 10% appx the size of the resin amount.

I'm bit confuse why u don't mix paint wd resin or resin wd hardner thn pour lil of it in paint n apply on canvas?
Hi Mahum, I hope I am understanding what you mean if not let me know. With resin you have to mix it first to make sure you are not changing any chemical mix that the resin needs to be made right. Then it's ok to add a little paint (under 10%) if you add too much it can still change the resin to much and it will not cure properly.

How do you use the gun glue and put the rhinestones on without the glue drying up so fast before applying it and I love the song in the beginning who sings it
I use a very hot glue gun and I do get blisters at times if I rush, but you can do shorter strokes of glue and always have the "gems" ready by the glue line. Seems like lots of resin? Is paints mixed with resin also?
yes it is a lot of resin needed for this type. Yes drops of paint were in the resin. If you put too much paint in there it messes with the curing process. To save resin I have done in the past a paint pour and then resin/add gems. Like this one: czcams.com/video/oOTWLXzK7ck/video.html
So is th resin mixed in with the paint or only on certain parts?
On this one I use 10% appx paint to resin for the mix ,on some of it. Blue, white and gold . (gold other than the marker) The clear top coat and over gems etc.

Can we use any other glue to secure crystals?
Yes I think E600 or something like that would work as well. The resin really secures it so if you can just get it to stay in place anything should work.

I bet just one. A lot depends in what exactly your doing. I am guessing 2 layers at least. With geodes you can do the first a thin layer to get all the gems to stick.

What was used for the crystals
The clear ones are acrylic vase fillers. Some online, Micheals, just go the the vase spot in a store they usually have a variety of fillers. Here: amzn.to/2NvsAw5

yes a canvas I bought from Micheal's Art store

yep, it is plus other plain wood or wood cuts can work well too

Ohh, yes you can use a MDF board. I did it on one where I made a wave beach scene. I was told by a wood worker and never forgot this. They said "Whatever you do the the front of wood you have to do to the back" as in sealer or resin etc. Because of warping

@@nehatalreja8055 You can and a lot of people do. For this video it was a canvas from Micheal's . I have a video on prepping it so it doesn't sag. czcams.com/video/30-IcrTisIg/video.html But with this it was done little by little so it wasn't a huge amount to weigh it down. The cured resin next day helped with it not sagging.

Yes I could have. I don't have a way to cut a board but have recently ordered a pre-cut out one to try out. Some people are used to the rectangle size wall art so both works.
Are you supposed to wear a respirator or something when you make these I Wana make one but don't wanna die doing it 😅
I don't want to get anyone hurt - so my best advice to to go by the resin instructions that come with it. Each resin is a bit different.

I have found some yes, but not quite sure if I'd say here because it is use at your own risk. Check out ones that I have used and see.

I can't understand why do you need a canvas for geode? A canvas has not the form like a geode... really what's a pitty
Oh you are right, you don't - I have some geode cut shaped boards too. You can do it on pretty much anything. I just think canvas are easier to hang and people are used to the rectangle shape.
