    this foundation is really strong - the pops are so solid - not afraid of speed - you can tell hes been riding more switch and is more comfortable on a board than most people at camp

    The weight shift on landing on a steep slope switch is honestly super scary and difficult. 180s on flat are east. Landing on a slope after being popped up and over a gap makes it so hard. I even struggle with it still these days. I think that’s why many people skip 180s and go for full 360s on jumps

      It can be tough to balance that weight shift! Yo Phase!

    1:16 is there a mistake with heels and toes? xD

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  Před 8 měsíci +1

      No, for backside 180’s you want to pop off your toes

  • @TCK71
    @TCK71 Před 8 měsíci +3

    A back 1 is a blind landing, you keep looking backwards up the hill when you land on your toes otherwise you keep spinning and spin out. Plus it can be done with rotation or counter-rotation, none of this is even mentioned.

      @SnowboardProCamp  Před 8 měsíci +1

      He is landing blind with his head looking back, plus we do talk about twisting to 180 over rotating.

    Seconddd😂

  • @bigbramley
    @bigbramley Před 8 měsíci +2

    Your man looks like he needs to work on the blind landing a little, his head and subsequently his body looks to be coming round too quickly making him revert

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  Před 8 měsíci

      To be fair the landing was a bit sloppy and we were stopping quick to hike back up. On a cleaner landing without stopping he’s got it all day long.

    Not riding out switch long enough.

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  Před 8 měsíci

      We weren’t riding the landing out long because we were hiking up the jump each time.

    he obviously needs to get more confident about riding switch

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  Před 8 měsíci

      His switch was solid. We weren’t riding out a long switch landing because we had to hike the jump each time.

      But also who doesn't need to get more confident riding switch

    • @paktw8932
      @paktw8932 Před 8 měsíci

      I concur I think landing switch and riding switch are different things. Maybe needs to jump switch a few times
