I am truly jealous of Cheal’s articulation and general speaking skills. It really is a skill. His brain clearly moves very fast, like mine, yet he is still able to organize thoughts and articulate. The older I get the more I admire people who are good at speaking. I basically need to have everything I’m going to say written down in advance.
I think its because he genuinely loves MMA and is passionate about talking about it.

Growing up as diehard Anderson Silva fan - I really disliked Chael and his antics.
Over the years, he peels the curtain back more and more and he's actually super insightful and charming.

I'm just convinced that many people mistake the constant high volume of his voice with him being relentlessly accurate. Compare that to Ariel. Ariel is also intelligent and humorous. He's level-headed and is seemingly able to maintain his composure everywhere he goes. When it comes to quick wits, Ariel has Chael's number, and I'm saying this knowing I may get some push back. Each of them use their respective quick wit differently. Chael for put downs and Ariel for quips. When I watch this video, it's obvious to me that Ariel got the best of Chael. Not that he tried to get the best of him, but that it ended up that way.
