@Ash Kumar; Hinduism believes all souls are sacred/divine; why Hinduism worships KATILS like Sri Ram, Krishna, and Shivaji? Sri Ram murdered Ravan and Khumbhkaran, for Sita haran, with the help of a monkey, Hanuman, that failed to pluck out a plant growing t the foot of a parvat yet broke apart the parvat, LOL, and flew without the wings across Bharat to light a fire with its flaming tail, LOL, to burn to death the inhabitants of Lanka for KATIL Ram, committing the world's first genocide. There is one God; all paths do not lead to God our creator and may lead to a false deity like Hanuman, a flying monkey, sidekick of Sri Ram, Ganapathi, a MURDA, created by KATIL Shiva who beheaded his son and covered it with a large head of a slaughtered elephant, worshiped for Good Luck, and removal of life obstacles. Good Luck, Murkh Hindu Samaj. Facts lead to the truth, and the truth is bitter.

Loved the video. Appreciate the efforts of Rev. in researching the information and presenting without any bias. What we call Hinduism is better known as Sanatana Dharma, meaning eternal truth (even this terminology is relatively later in vogue around 7th century CE). It is not to be considered as religion, but a philosophy guiding you to think and discover. It is a philosophy of seeking - seeking truth about oneself - what am I , who am I, where do I come from, where do I go...... So it is not a faith or belief. Hence there are np proscribed dos and donts. Everyone os considered born Hindu (for want of better term), and he / she can choose the path that he finds good. Essemntially one can choose to be a Christian path, but still be a Hindu, one can even be atheist and still be a Hindu - no minimum requirements. It believes in law of karma and reincarnation. Whether you do good or bad, it will get back to you either in this life or in next bitrth. It ultimately aims to seek your ultimate consciuosness which is universal infinity and is divine thriugh your own inner consciousness (atmen) or call it soul if you will. All living beings have the soul. Rebirth does not necessarily mean human form, it could be in the form of insect. And every living being has its dharma (purpose or duty) expected of it and that cannot be held against it - like dharma of a tiger is to kill while the dharma of a soldier is to fight in war or that of teacher is to impart knowledge...Everything that we do is to be for the greater purpose of society and not self is the core principle of dharma. No concept of heaven and earth. Broadly human life is in 4 stages - till puberty when education is dharma, adulthood when you choose your path or profession, family stage when your dharma is to procreate and be responsible for your family (includes parents) and the last stage is give up everything including all attachments and relationships and spend the time in service of socirty and seeking divinity ( consciousness). the greeting is namaste (hands folded at heart level and bowing) symbolises, my soul pays respect to your soul. There is huge philosophy in this - sorry, I put it in bits and pieces

NOBODY MAKES AN EFFORT TO READ & UNDERSTAND "VEDAS" & "BHAGWAD GITA"! ONCE SOMEBODY DOES THAT, AUTOMATICALLY HE/SHE WILL KNOW THAT HINDUISM IS THE ONLY TRUE RELIGION as it got revealed 1000s of years back (before any REMIXES like islam or christianity) in its real form without any superstitions in WORLD'S BEST LANGUAGE - SANSKRIT! IN FACT, IT IS MORE THAN RELIGION AS IT'S A WHOLE WAY OF PROPER LIFESTYLE!!! THAT'S WHY EVERYONE IS A HINDU WHETHER HE/SHE REALIZES OR NOT, IT DOESN'T MATTER!

    GOD IN HINDUISM
    from Bhagavad Gita
My true being is unborn and changeless. I am the Lord who dwells in every creature.
Through the power of my own maya, I manifest myself in a
    finite form.
7.1Earth, water, fire, air, akasha, mind, intellect, and ego - these are the eight divisions of my prakriti.
7.2But beyond this I have another, higher nature; it supports the whole universe and is the source of life in all human beings.
7.3In these two aspects of my nature is the womb of all creation. The birth and dissolution of the cosmos itself take place in me.
7.4There is nothing that exists separate from me. The entire universe is suspended from me as a necklace of jewels.
7.5I am the taste of pure water and the radiance of the sun and moon. I am the sacred word and the sound heard in air, and the courage of human beings.
7.6I am the sweet fragrance in the earth and the radiance of fire; I am the life in every creature and the striving of the spiritual aspirant.
7.7My eternal seed is to be found in every creature. I am the power of discrimination in those who are intelligent, and the glory of the noble.
7.8In those who are strong, I am strength, free from passion and selfish attachment. I am desire itself, if that desire is in harmony with the purpose of life.
8.1 My highest nature, the imperishable Brahman, gives every creature its existence and lives in every creature as adhyatama. My action is creation and the bringing forth of creatures.
8.2The adhibhuta is the perishable body; the adhidaiva is the Purusha, eternal spirit. The adhiyajna, the supreme sacrifice, is made to me as the Lord within you.
8.3The Lord is the supreme poet, the first cause, the sovereign ruler, subtler than the tiniest particle, the support of all, inconceivable, bright as the sun, beyond darkness.
8.4But beyond this formless state there is another, unmanifested reality, which is eternal and not dissolved when the cosmos is destroyed.
8.5Those who realize life’s supreme goal know that I am unmanifest and unchanging. Having come home to me, they never return to separate existence.
8.6This supreme Lord who pervades all existence, the true Self of all creatures, may be realized through undivided love.
9.1I pervade the entire universe in my unmanifested form. All creatures find their existence in me, but I am not limited by them.
9.2I am the father and mother of this universe, and its grandfather too; I am its entire support.
9.3I am the goal of life, the Lord and support of all, the inner witness, the abode of all. I am the only refuge, the one true friend; I am the beginning, the staying, and the end of creation; I am the womb and the eternal seed.
9.4I am heat; I give and withhold the rain. I am immortality and I am death; I am what is and what is not.
10.1Whoever knows me as the Lord of all creation, without birth or beginning, knows the truth and frees himself from all evil.
10.2I am the seed that can be found in every creature; for without me nothing can exist, neither animate nor inanimate.
13.1The body is called a field; the one who knows it is called the knower of the field. This is the knowledge of those who know.
13.2I am the Knower of the field in everyone. Knowledge of the field and its Knower is true knowledge.
13.3This supreme Self is without a beginning, undifferentiated, deathless. Though it dwells in the body, it neither acts nor is touched by action.
13.4As akasha pervades the cosmos but remains unstained, the Self can never be tainted though it dwells in every creature.
13.5As the sun lights up the world, the Self dwelling in the field is the source of all light in the field.
13.6Those who, with the eye of wisdom, distinguish the field from its Knower and the way to freedom from the bondage of prakriti, attain the supreme goal.
15.1In this world there are two orders of being: the perishable, separate creature and the changeless spirit.
15.2But beyond these there is another, the supreme Self, the eternal Lord, who enters into the entire cosmos and supports it from within.
15.3I am that Supreme Self, praised by the scriptures as beyond the changing and the changeless.
15.4Those who see in me that supreme Self see truly. They have found the source of all wisdom, and they worship me with all their heart.

Virgin Birth: The young Princess Kunti through a special mantra summoned the Sun God. The mantra was for acquiring a child by the one summoned. The Sun God through his Yogic Powers split himself into two parts, one to remain to give heat and light to the world and the other part was placed into the womb of Princess Kunti by the Sun God through the Sun God's yogic powers. Princess Kunti became pregnant with Karna (cousin of Sri Krishna) without any physical/sexual contact or interaction. This story from the Mahabharata existed for thousands of years before the birth of any Abrahamic (Jewish, Christianity, Islamic) Religion.

grt clarity...no embelishmnet, rhetorics or drama....and of course well researched sermon...but it would have been appropriate if you would have not used the word 'RELIGION' becoz hinduism is not a religion but 'A WAY OF LIFE'. and the thought that hinduism is ever evolving and that it does not shun modern thought, science and philosophy makes it versatile.

C K Patel She is referencing Rig Veda 1:164.46 (Book 1, Hymn 164, Verse 46). Sometimes it gets translated truth is one but the wise call it by many names....and the translation varies from there as it isn't always easy to translate the Sanskrit words into English and the full meaning of the Sanskrit word be conveyed accurately in English. It happens between a lot of languages. Even the ancient Hebrew and ancient Greek used in the Bible doesn't translate easily into English so many Bibles now contain reference points and footnotes on other possible English words that could be used to translate the Hebrew or Greek word or phrase or the footnote will give some other info to allow the reader to try to understand the deeper meaning. I've noticed this is becoming a trend amongst Hindu scriptures that have been translated from Sanskrit to English and even kirtan singers and other musicians in the US have began doing it also when posting the lyrics....trying to convey to the English speaker the fullest of meanings. www.sacred-texts.com/hin/rigveda/rv01164.htm or www.sacred-texts.com/hin/rvsan/rv01164.htm

When u see Hinduism just say untouchability. There is 300 million in India who are considered untouchables. Now let me tell the people of the world that what is untouchability. According to their holy scriptures especially the manu Smriti - 1) people born to an untouchable are untouchable and people born to upper caste are upper caste . So there is no reason of escaping if an person is born untouchable then he will remain so till he is dead. So there is no chance of escaping from these upper caste hindus.2)an untouchable should live away from upper caste hindus. If shadow of of untouchable fall on the upper caste . Then the upper caste gets polluted. So, the upper caste have to purify them selves by doing rituals. 3) an untouchable should not be allowed inside the temple or do the worship. If an untouchable do worship then he should be killed or his tongue should be cut. If an untouchable hear the rituals done by upper caste in the temple , then molten ore should be put inside his ears. 4) an untouchable have no right to have any land or property. He will only live to do dirty work like picking excretes , picking garbage. Untouchables will live on the outskirts of the village and no upper caste will go to their house. As the upper caste will get polluted. All the good work like doing rituals in the temple, holding businesses will only be done by upper caste. If an untouchable go to an upper caste house then untouchable will sit on the ground and the upper caste will sit on chair. Untouchables would be given water in a separate glass so that the glasses don't get polluted. 5) upper castes can cut the hair of animals like buffallo or cow , but upper caste cannot cut hair of an untouchable as the upper caste would get polluted. 6) an upper caste have the ritual right to rape an untouchable women and no questions asked to the upper caste. 7) untouchable have no right to education as their birth is just for doing slavery of upper caste. Untouchables would not be given anything. 8) an untouchable women have no right to cover her breasts in front of upper caste men. I appeal to the united nations that we are facing the worst kind of hindu terrorism that the man kind has ever seen. Please my brother sister of the world , help us poor helpless people. We are dying each and every day.

This is a remnant of a practice created to separate the people doign dirty jobs from those who werent cos if they did get in contact, the upper caste people fall sick and die in those days. Its a stupid practice now but dont blame the religion for it. Its evolution has been stunted by the non-stop invasions. If you blame the people, you spread racial hatred. Do you want people to be racist to Indians. If not shut up and fix the problem. Typing on your keyboard and preventing the spread of a good name for your culture isnt helping. It just makes us look more backward than we already do. Stop virtue signalling. ITs not helping you nor is it helping me. YOU ARE BEING SELFISH. It only makes you feel better cos youre expressing that you are different from the oppressors but they dont see it that way. They see you as an Indian who cements their view of us as backward. The stats wopt save them. The solution is to educate people and fix the problem. Not tell stories from a fake id name.

You have become paranoid, hence you do not know about Hinduism ,even though you may be a Hindu. You have mixed up religious, social, cultural, historical ,communal and political issue and spoiled your argument. Manusmiti was written by the sage Manu as per the social systems prevailing then and was never binding then nor is binding today.. As you are aware that there is no central authority in Hindusim, hence a few of the guidelines mentioned in the Manusmriti were exploited by the wasted fuedal social system, then prevelent. However ,the specific problems of Dalit are being addressed since last 150 years ,you are quite aware of these reforms. You have mischievously included some of the issues which already have been banned by govt. laws and such practices are no more prevelant, there may be some exceptions, which are dealt by the law of the land when ever deviations come to fore.As for as your asking help from other people other than your own Indians, clearly indicate your mischievious mind. India is a free domocratic country and has laws dealing with social issues as per each religions practices. These laws get modified whenever deviations come to notice. Indians are not dogmatic. Your fears are nothing but a political propoganda with ulterior motive. Non the less you are living in free democartic country and you have all the rights to express fearlessly. For your information there are a dozen political parties and well known dalit leaders who are fighting on the political and social platform for any injustice done to dalits. Almost all points of yours have been dealt with by Indian justice system. But due to political compulsions, dalits are not being allowed to get integrated by people like you. This is utterly political and nothing to do with social system specifically with Hindus. Get your self enlighted and do not become blighted and dogmatic. Make a Guru who will show you the right path to follow and clear all your doubts. Seek answers to your questions,do self study, seek guidance from guru, know about other religions of the world, study the social systems of other societies both eastern and western and become enlighted, all your negatives will vanish and you will clearly see your path to Moksha, the ultimate goal of every Hindu. God be with you.
