Dylan read Pat so hard this battle. It didn't help that Pat made some serious mistakes with the Staraptor switch into Mamoswine and the wrong protosynthesis boost.
Also, Mamoswine put in so much work, definite MVP.

@@PersonaPrime yeah if he sat there and ate the knockoff and delivered a focus blast (assuming it actually hit) he would have known right away that something was up with Mamo (though there is a chance the Ice Scales could be misread as Solid Rock or the other ability that works the same way)

I think Pat made 2 crucial mistakes
- Not healing his Volt Aborb Staraptor in an incoming electric move from Miradon.
Instead got sacked by Ice Shard.
- Not Tera fighting Aura Sphere Mamo after knowing it had Ice Scales.
Instead wasting it on a tera that didnt get the job done.

What about going through the Generations, spinning a wheel for numbers 1-8, whatever number it lands on, you choose a Pokemon from the Gym Leader relating to that number, build a team and then battle? For example, start in Gen 1, wheel spin lands on 4, you pick a Pokemon from Erica's Team
Lockout style so if you both land the same number you can't pick the same Pokemon
After watching all of this video I can say that it is a great one because I've definitely watched it all

So you're telling me that Dylan got Mamoswine (GROUND-Ice) and DIDN'T give it the ability of Diggersby (GROUND-Normal), which in case you didn't konw, is HUGE POWER? One of the best fusions they made was a huge power mamoswine effectively and instead he went with ICE SCALES? A choice scarf sweeper was on the table, but Dylan chose against it. I respect this man.
Dylan could've had yveltal because it was added in the hidden treasure dlc. You get it by talking to a guy named snacksworth. He's also how you get many other legebdaries like solgaleo and ho-oh and even entei and kubfu. Such a miss

16 of the Paldea box's 30 were legendaries or paradox forms of legendaries. Of the 4 shiny pokemon, 3 were legendaries or legendary paradoxes

Dylan do a battle with Tobin but play rock paper scissors, whoever wins gets to pick their starter, do a second round for the same set and if they lose the second round the winner then gets to pick the losers starter... I think it'd be a fun idea
