When she's talking about him during the opening of Doris Day and Friends I can feel her pain. She wrote a book about her life, and her devotion to Christian Science. I'm amazed she's still with us (as of this writing) at 96. Proof she's made of stronger stuff than most folks. I think her animals keep her going. She loves them so, so much.

My late best friend and I were soul mates. He was gay, and we never had sex. But we loved each other unconditionally, despite who we had were dating or had sex with. I think Doris Day movies she made with kids were her best! Send me no Flowers is so funny, Please don't eat eat daisy's comedy's where the best she did, her movies made you feel good, she had yellow in a lot the sets , maybe that's another reason they thought of her as sunny and cheerful, or a least part of it.
