I just recently found you, so I'm sorry to see you go. BUT I hear you about your love and dedication to companion pet rescue. I've been doing it for years now. It does require a ton of hours and tons of work. I admire you and wish you and your rescue friends very well. There is so much need in our country. I have four rescued dogs myself, a blind, deaf cat, and have fostered many, many pups. You'll laugh since my newest rescued creature is a 9 inch Fantail Goldfish. Love him! Your channel was one of the first fish channels I subscribed to, maybe the first. Although I've kept fish for over 20 years I probably came late to the CZcams fish keeper vids about 4 years ago, now I'm addicted. I'm so sorry to hear you won't be doing more videos. You're a down to earth guy and you made some straightforward informational videos that I enjoyed. Wishing you all the best for your animal rescue work and whatever else you do in the future.
I am new to the aquarium hobby and just recently found some of your videos while I was searching for help/advice. I have made my mistakes in the short time I have been keeping my aquarium, but have found your videos enlightening and helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and as a pet-parent to four rescues (two dogs and two cats) I found the reason behind your departure from CZcams-land heartwarming. Thank you (x4) for being a champion of our less fortunate, but deserving, four legged friends ❤️🙏🏻

I feel exactly where you're coming from as the amount of materialistic, vlogging crap which seems to be promoted relentlessly by the algorithms is really pushing anything useful and educational to the peripherals of search results and related videos. I'll still keep plugging way but I have no expectations about anything I put out - most videos just disappear without a trace, some may be picked up and promoted but that is becoming increasingly rare and I wouldn't like to be starting a channel up now as it's a very different world from all those years ago where people actually cared about content. Wishing you happiness and health - there is definitely more to life than CZcams.
