I am sitting outside at present and watched this video start to finish taking notes and measurements. Oh Garnette, I am so pleased you have not only enjoyed my tutorials and making these lovly mini albums but you daughter and Mother are also enjoying them as gifts.I must say when every I send my Mum any of my mini albums I to get the same reactions and she always phones me up with tears of joy. This was quite relaxing to listen to and to watch. I was wondering if many people still use brag books when most of us have mobile phones. I like this to give to my older family members. Also - Great project for a grandmother to do with the little ones as a gift to their Mom.
Thanks Elanie, yes I think they are still popular looking at all the coments and likes. As you say great for older members to share with friends and also little ones that dont have phones too.
I like them to document an event or day out and not too big to then store on a shelf. So print of your pics and give it a go.x

Just finished making this and I LOVE IT!!! its my first scrapbooking project and I found it really east to follow . I managed to make it just using 3 lots of paper and I also used the 4 corners that were cut out as little tags. cant wait to make another!!

Hi Judy, the paper collection is an old one from last year,it is GCD Studios and is called Joyful Peace. I have used the 8x8 pad. I must say the vintage papers go well with the Kraft cardstock. Glad you liked the tutorial. Dx

I made one of these with the smaller accordion flaps for my mother (90). I filled it with photos from her birthday party. I asked family members to post messages on Fscebook for her. I printed those and added them to the middle accordion flaps. She carries it with her and shows everyone. I’m planning to make another one with pics of her grandkids.

Although I havent been able to buy all I need yet, I certainly enjoy the add-ons you suggest, such as, to cut a v if you dont have a punch. You are an awesome teacher and great video!!!!!

Hiya, thanks so much for your lovely comments about my video tutorial. You asked about the adhesive I used. In this tutorial I used "Collall wet glue" it is great as unlike alot of other wet glues it dries flat with no bubbling. Also if it does manage to get on to your paper or card where you dont want you can does rub it off with your finger and it does not leave any marks, definatly my favourite glue!! As for tape i just used normal double sided tape.

E will try . Today I tried to do the slder album .. sadly the card split on the score lines ... but worse than that I couldn't get the scoring right ... I am wondering about my score board measurements .. will have to check it out . x

Check out my tutorial on scoring, if you cardstock is spliting sounds like you may need to change the angle of you score tool, just a thought.

Will do and thank you ... sorted out score board .. it starts at 0... then up to 12" no wonder I couldn't get it right .. grrrr wasted a load of card stock.! :( Feeling foolish. xx
So glad you got scoreboard sorted, I am sure you can also save some of the card to use in another project. I just call these moments happy accidents, you are not the only one we all do it at some time or another. Enjoy your project now. Dx
Hi Sandy thank you for your positive comments and glad you agree it is a quick and easy project.
The glue I have used is COLLALL ALL PURPOSE GLUE it is great!!! you get wiggle room to line you papers up, is does not bubble even under the thinest of papers. It also dries clear and if you do happen to get it on your paper where you don't want it,you can rub it away with you finger and it leaves no marks. great glue you must try it out. Dawn

Here are the measurements for the small sides you asked about- cut two pieces of cardstock 10"x 4" and score these at 2 1/2", 5" & 7 1/2" then Valley & Mountain folds these and attach these to sides of the main brag book.

I am going to use this method for a page enhancement on the book I am currantly working on. Would you consider doing a tutorial on different types of page enhancements such as the waterfall,(thats the only one I know by name).
