  • After four years of relentless research, studying, reading, asking questions, watching videos, dissecting, photographing, reassembling, disassembling, resembling Locks and gearboxes and mechanisms. My knowledge has expanded beyond comprehension and our business is exploding beyond all expectations.
I was very surprised the other day when I was watching a CZcams video only to find that somebody was not only criticising, but they were questioning why a company has released a new one star plus cylinder without the sacrificial cut with anti-snap element on it, whereas most of the other one stars do.
Be an approved supplier of this company, I already knew the answer so decided that it was about time that I should share why they have come to this decision and highlight all the security measures and elements of other locks and why they are rated the way they are.
This is what the customer would expect at the very least because of your selling one cylinder, £30 and another nearly £100. You need to know the difference why. What surprise me was after four years of ridicule and pissed and nasty sarcastic comments from locksmiths, who seem to know absolutely everything and be able to do everything in the Trade, which apparently they do not and cannot; they decided to take the piss out of me public social media.
So appears that it is my opportunity to teach an old dog, new tricks and explained why the sacrificial cut and anti-snap element have been taken out of the one star cylinder, and why people were taking advantage of the fact that it was there in the first place.
As always, these videos are quite long, but they are designed to be supportive and educational to those who need to know the difference.
