  • The absolute highlight of our winter testing of the GR Yaris was a trip to northern Finland. The long and hard winter in the Lapland area offers perfect conditions for fun winter drives. Plenty of snow, temperatures well below freezing and fantastic forest roads with long turns, technical passages and sharp horizons! The conditions on these rally stages are really demanding for the driver and the car. The GR Yaris performed very well even in these cold temperatures. We also managed to test studded tires from Nokian and Michelin. The performance of both mixtures was surprisingly balanced. Nokian head better wear though. The main issue of the Yaris was the custom Öhlins shock absorbers, which simply could not handle sharp jumps and compression!
