Do all the pig breeds have the same reproductive rate, feed rate, poo rate? Same for the rest of animals in non-seasons?
That is a good question and i have not tested the pigs yet
Base game they are all the same. I know there is a mod for Cows to change reproduction, milk and manure and slurry out put based on bread/color. Now sure if there is a pig version of that mod or not. I haven't gotten into pigs yet.
I'm very new to this game, first played it because playstation gave to me for free, and I'm in love with it! Addicted even! I only have a few questions as all my others have been answered here on CZcams. Your video is great, and you are up there with all the others! Thanks for the tutorials!!! However, being on console, my mods are limited. Do you know of any console mods for mixing pig food? I grew all the ingredients and have more than plenty, but want to mix it on a massive scale as I want to buy a lot of pigs at once to match all the other animals I bought in bulk. Any words of advice? Seems too tedious to do the math and combine the ingredients to match the recipe the game gives.... Thx!
Glad you are addictied to FS19!! It is addicting for sure lol. Welcome to the channel as well, glad you are enjoying, so I am not aware of a pig food mixer for consoles, I asked my Discord community to see if any of the console gamers on there are aware of one and if they are I will absolutely let you know. As far as feeding pigs goes, the "recipe" the game gives (50% corn, 5% sugarbeets/potatoes and so on...) is not a ratio recipe, the pigs will eat certain ones a bit more but that percent is only for effectiveness, you can feed the pigs only corn if you wanted but they would only be 50% productive, and if you fed them only sugarbeets/potatoes they would only have a productivity of 5%, so to have 100% productivity you have to feed all categories, if you do that by growing your own crops, load them all into a silo, then take one of the food types and ;load it into the pigs feed trough until that category is full, then do the next, and the next, and the next until all 4 categories are completely full, then you will be set. Then just top off the categories as needed :) hopefully that helps you, also as extra advice, feed these 4 food types to them as these are the cheapest/highest yield quantity, essentially the best bang for your buck: corn, barley, sugarbeets, canola. Hope this helps!!
thanks for the reply! That was my original plan but had seen a mixer on other channels, they are on PC of course, and I was wondering if we had one. So I bought 4 trailers and gonna just train the food in lol... looking forward to watching more vids!
Yea i wish they had one for console. I confirmed with my console folk and as of now there isnt one but yes the trailer train will work haha :)
On your No Mans Land series can you do sheep and pigs insted of cows
Absolutely. I honestly think we may end up doing pigs, sheep and cows. Sheep and cows dont add a ton to care for them anyhow since we already have most of the equipment needed
