What Fred said was uncalled for. “I wonder what hole you’ll end up in.”
I wonder if anyone told Fred about how people on the spectrum or people with ADHD react differently to others
Very unprofessional indeed.
Donte was really good and supportive here, because Donte has got a son who has got the same so he knows the signs and what it’s like, how to deal with it
Donte had great character development this season. Donte from the earlier seasons would’ve just stood there and watched like the other kids.
Got the same? Does she has a condition?
@@Kevinsmoonlight Donte’s son has ADD
@@Oliver919 yeah she has got the same
@@Oliver919in real life?
As someone with autism, this usually how my meltdowns look like the was the first time I felt seen in a mainstream tv show.
Amazing acting from the young lady could feel it building up for her the panic , the emotion, the anger , the distress very well done . It does show how out teachers really need better training it’s not being naughty , showing off , causing trouble it’s a person in real need of help . Is it fair that teachers have to be mental health care workers no but schools need to have a place people can go or someone to talk to straight away and not be on camhs waiting lists months or years for little help.
Wrote a Twitter thread on this in more detail already, but I've never seen my autism meltdown represented so accurately before so needed to reiterate here. Excellent job.
Her character just has ADHD but I was thinking the same! When I first saw this scene I just saw me, best representation I’ve ever seen
@@victorianwhovian yeah I know :) there's just a lot of crossover between the two so it was very familiar for me.
@@reysokasthere was a character with autism in the original series. Karla Bentham. She's one of my favourite characters because i have Aspergers as well
this was an incredible scene, well done to everyone involved.
This is an accurate adhd meltdown, I’m gonna start watching this now
I agree, this is an accurate adhd and autism meltdown, does she have ADHD or autism?
@@ezfitness2005 I think it’s adhd, not sure just going by some of the comments
Oh it’s ptsd btw !
that visitor teacher and the staff teacher was just escalating it
An actress that will go very far. Brilliant performance
It wasn't really Kelly Jo's fault, as that guy in the blue shirt mocked and antagonised her.
That girl had a mental breakdown
but what was really bothering her
I feel for Kelly-Jo as I know what it is like to have ADHD and how it feels when you have a break down because people think thay know how it is or how it feels when inside your head you don't even understand your self so like Kelly-Jo she couldn't cope because it was to much for her to take in and bless her just exploded because people where thinking that she was just being naughty and silly when she couldn't find the way to calm down with people on top of her and her teacher not realising sooner that she was displaying signs of ADHD👧🏽😥😰😡😤
I'm glad she is getting help at the end I thought it be another janine from classic eastenders people keep having ago and then end up in hospital as I was really getting annoyed at first people kept having ago instead of supporting her but I'm glad she is getting supported now
Please can you bring back rimmer and treneman we need some of the older staff like them to help Kim run the school
I miss Rimmer so much
@@phoebeolivia7967 any of them to be honest it's a shame they can't retcon Tom and Grantleys death
@@mrmaclovin255 he needs to help Kim run the school and get the bully's out
Jack went on to have a more successful job so it wouldn’t make sense for him to come back as much as I’d like to see it.
Last night’s episode was brilliant
What movie is this
Its not a movie, it’s a TV show called Waterloo Road.
She needed an aid to help her.
I love donate 😊😊😊
What episode/season?
Episode 4 Season 11
What episode and season?
The state of this writing 🥴
That's the beauty of waterloo road. It's watched for the bad writing and acting. And that's why we love it. It's so bad it's good
@@mrmaclovin255 It wasn’t like that in the 2000’s.
@H.K yet its 2023 so times moves on
@@James_Doyle83 I know, I’m just saying Waterloo Road was a brilliant show at one point.
@@H.K.5 Now it's filled with LGBT propaganda. Whatever. I'll stick to watching Yair Rodriguez tornado kicks, no big deal.
Having a fight, What!
I went to a small private school, many years ago, and if you spoke to a teacher the way some of these children do, you would have been in serious trouble. This is a genuine question, do school children really behave like this nowadays?. Does Waterloo reflect real school environments?.even factoring in that it's a drama
you went to a private school
not really an accurate depiction at all lmao, it’s hyped up for entertainment (obviously)
@@dogboyirIlol ..but still feel sorry for teachers nowadays especially in secondary schools..
You went to a private school. Waterloo Road is about a comprehensive school.

Was she expelled?
No.
I love Coral so much and Preston and Preston is SO HOT!!!! And Kai is great too
Hi
off topic but I feel like I know that teacher from something and it's bothering me lol the one who sort of set her off
Dum teacher
Donte has really became such a good bloke 🥹
They should have brought Grantly back because this series isn’t canon to series 8 and 10 in Scotland
yes it is canon
Yes it is they literally said the school closed down in Scotland so it is canon
It is canon. She said the school closed down about 10 years ago (like 2012 when rochdale closed in season 7)
Grantly's dead... and yes it is canon. Lay off the pipe.
Couldn’t stand her.
Can't stand you
Her character has ADHD (pls do some research if you don’t know much abt it) and this new season of Waterloo road is to try and portray real life problems that todays kids face and this is one of them. Clearly it was overlooked by the staff but Donte was the only one who understood which is why he helped calm her down.
@@aldcsurprise That doesn’t mean I have to like her.
@@aldcsurprise having adhd doesn't mean you are a nasty person
@@saxsan4191 Exactly, she was rude and annoying even when she wasn’t having breakdowns.
