Does my Christian brothers & sisters ever thought -

      How is it possible,

The people of the places where all the Prophets

Even where Jesus Christ(pbuh) lived are now Muslim?

About the matter of najis and taahir, there are nearly 8 billion of us humans walking on this planet today, and a quick back-of--the-envelope calculation would mean that we produce more than 8 billion liters of urine every single day assuming that each of us drinks an average of a liter of water per day. Multiple that by 365, and then by 10, and we have more than 30 trillion liters of urine produced over a decade. Where did all that urine go? And we're only talking of a single decade here. The point is, najis urine is recycled by the environment into taahir water over and over again. So najis becomes taahir, and taahir becomes najis, ad infinitum.

Yes some sturctures do not change on boiling ie H20 remains H20 after boiling, it doednt break into Hydrogen and Oxygen.. so I cant see why the processed gelatines are not considered to undergone far more changes than is needed to satisfy the fatwa requirements

@@kakalam6004 Your god doesn't exist. And my first post is proof of that by pointing out that it is illogical for your god to exist.
If there is a Creator, then 'it' must be 100% *impersonal,* because I never saw a(ny) _personal_ god 'do anything' in this Universe. The only thing I see, are his self-proclaimed followers 'telling me' their god is out here. And 'talk' (i.e repeating ancient texts) doesn't prove anything at all.

Your and mine statement mean nothing, if God is there he is perfectly capable of showing his existence the way he like and defining the way he wants himself to be defined as. Take upanishads, dasatir, ancient Chinese shen theology, Torah, Bible and Quran...all have one thing same "God is One and cannot be percieved/seen by creation/eyes/any vision.
So if I compare your lifespan of few decades and your limited knowledge with the statement that has been there for thousands of years defining God, it is clear which is more credible and constant within the flow of time.
Besides there were millions of nations who denied God and were destroyed, you mean nothing compared to those nations and mighty people and Kings. They were buried under sands of time and so will you be and another millions of people will come and deny God, nothing new or strange, the warnings are for those who heed, not for heedless.

Well my God is fully capable of defining Himself , and doesn't need humans to define what he can and cannot do.
And why would God even need to show himself to feeble beings like humans, jinns and Angels that might be obliterated by sight of Him?
It's more logical to send telegraphic messages.
You seem to think you are all capable to even view God's existence with your feeble capabilities and body, when you can't even stare 5 mins to a midday sun without going blind. Its amazing how people ask prove of God overestimating themselves even when it's been said again and again that you are incapable.

One of the reasons people have a hard time grasping the eternality of Hell is because of mercy. People know fire hurts and feel mercy towards someone that will be there forever. But had they known what Allah knows about those destined for this they wouldn't have shown them mercy. And the reason Allah can punish a people with such severity is because such people won't encompassed in Allahs Mercy on that Day. Imagine if you had no mercy for someone, could you then pity them? These people won't have mercy towards them so they won't every find respite. We are believers know Allah is not unjust and He is Fair and Just. So we will trust Allah that these dwellers of Hell are people *unworthy* of Allahs Mercy. That is why the people of paradise will never feel an ounce of mercy towards the people of Hell, even when they look at them as we learn in the Quran. They will even speak with them but won't have any mercy towards them. Mercy is what makes us pity, so don't feel mercy over a people unworthy of it. *"... So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."* Surah 5:26

MO UKBU, you said "miracle was for him a gift from Allah to the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam not meant to be shown to ppl" But in Torah, Jobbar, and Ingil we find Allah/God gave gift to prophets, to His beloved Son Jesus Christ to show people that God is living God, so that people believe unseen God of Spirit and Truth by their heart without any doubt, fear and love Him.
No miracles, Jesus Christ SON OF GOD did in private. After Resurrection of Jesus Christ he appeared to 500 people as proof of God's gift to His Son; Jesus Christ went into Heaven in broad daylight in front of many people in daylight to prove that He is alive now. Jesus Christ gave life to dead man Lazarus in front of villagers to proof God's gift to Jesus Christ as His Son. heaven/hell is a reality like this life/death , not our subjective view of what is heaven for us. many prophets like noah (as) , lut(as),muhammad (sallahu alihe wa salam) etc that had a family member that went astray or died upon disbelief like abu talib , so you can love someone but if the message of islam is conveyed to them & they reject it in their heart and died in disbelief , it doesnt matter how good they were in other aspects. Allah has made clear the punishment of those who commit crimes/shirk and if they choose to be of that category they get that punishment , Allah is most just , to be just it requires punishment/forgiveness/etc. like a person who kills the king and is given life sentence in jail , you should be pleading with your son to not do the crime/ change vs questioning the law/punishment.
if your son is alive i advise you to give your son dawah or have someone knowledgable give dawah to your son. and encorage him to consider islam , & make dua for him , you dont know when he will accept islam.

    • @upquark31415
      @upquark31415 Před 4 lety +3

It is plausible that the hadith had a particular context. It seems like the Prophet's (ﷺ) instruction to follow the majority is related to the issue of taking a collective decision. For example the issue of declaring jihad, beginning and ending of lunar months, appointing a leader. Since in these cases a collective decision is needed to be taken for the practicality of the issue, otherwise there will be just anarchy. But as for deciding whether a concept and ruling is haqq or baatil then the criteria is the strength of the evidence from Qur'an and Sunnah, not the majority position. As the Prophet (ﷺ) said in another hadith that, 'My ummah will never unite upon error.' Please note that the concept of ummah is not just a spatial concept but also temporal. In other words, there will always remain from the ummah of the last Messenger (ﷺ) someone who will point out the error. It is entirely possible that he may come at a later time since the wording of the hadith allows this possibility. Obviously a mujtahid Imam (it is arguable though if Imam ibn Taymiyyah is a mujtahid or not) has the obligation to understand an issue directly from the text of the Qur'an and Sunnah, it is not correct for him to follow the majority if he understands that the text is meaning otherwise. Our tradition gives this academic freedom to a mujtahid Imam. We need to understand that our tradition is a dynamic one, it is neither a clergy system like Catholicism, nor a chaos like the online forums where every Tom, Dick and Harry can have his opinion. I agree that it is a tight rope to walk for the tradition. But any authentic, honest, pragmatic and dynamic intellectual tradition needs to do this balancing act prudently in order to preserve its relevance and integrity. And Allah knows best.

It is Quran and Sunnah that you follow first thing. Jamaa'ah comes later and with a condition that they follow the first two. Ibn Taimeeyah including Ibn Qayyim, as explained in this video went against the opinion of the majority in the past because they have a proof from Quran on the possibility of Jahannam not existing forever, for example. If someone doesn't agree with him or both of them, then they must provide the evidence from Quran itself to prove that their interpretation or understanding is not correct. The opinion of the majority alone are not qualified to rebut a Quranic verse and thus dismiss it. On the contrary, Quran will always sit on judgement over hadith and opinions.
