Update: just bought it cause of enhypen and stray kids! It does make you taller, adds like 2 inches! It really makes a difference in terms of height. Plus, ITS SUPER COMFORTABLE to wear! It has like insoles inside that are cushion type. Thank you to my fav idols who influence me to get these. 😌✨💁🏻♀️

@@mikasa2272 Awww, that sounds painful 😣. No, fortunately I didn’t get blisters when I wear them. Perhaps, It’s the type of socks you’re wearing is not suited for it? Maybe, try wearing an ankle socks? Like the Nike ones or just ankle length socks in general. That’s what I do and never had a problem with blisters. 🙂

I just got my pair (white, because it’s classic) today and I love them. I’m 6’2” and these things make me 6’3”, not 6’4” like the guy in the video stated. But they look cool, just like they did when I was 15, back in 9th Grade, also wearing my Levi’s & Hang Ten tee shirt (grew up in Florida) on the first day of school. I loved those first pairs of Cons (we never called them Chuck Taylors because even though it was 1973, nobody ever heard of him) and worn a pair ALL THE TIME that I wasn’t in uniform or wearing my hiking boots. But I wore Chuck Taylors until I turned about 23, I think. So that means this is my first pair in 40 years.

Thank you so much for this cool and informative video! So actually, when it comes to someone's height, we use metres in Europe - thus, we'd say you're 1.90m, not 190cm. But thank you for converting the measures^^ it makes it a lot easier for us to quickly understand. I own two pairs of the runstar hike...what I've noticed is, that they're probably one of the worst shoes to wear if it's rainy weather...the soles are unbelievably slippery - especially when walking on copple stone. Anyways. Love to see more videos of you. Good luck and a happy Christmas in advance! Much love from Germany.

Do these pairs carry a strong rubbery smell? I got it from an official Cons distributor and I had it legit checked and they all said it’s “OFF” due to mm sizing which is very common for Korea released pairs.

I bought the low top version of this a few weeks ago, it rains too often in my area, I've only worn it once and slipped, way too slippery this. Looks and feel good though. 🌧

I bought these, they were very comfortable to walk in, and usually when you wear converse you become shorter but these increased my height by a lot haha. The star on the back was super neat, It felt like I was walking on jelly platforms

how is the stability with the platform. I've always liked how converse chucks look but never bought them because of the poor arch support. I have flat feet so I need something with some give and cushioning.
I know this is a super old comment lol but if you’re still looking for a shoe: in my personal opinion I would go with the Converse Lugged version instead. This week I just bought both the Lugged and Run Star Hike to try them both and found the Lugged to be much more comfortable and provide cushioning. I have exactly the same problem as you and need to have shoes with arch support or else I can’t wear them. I really wanted to love the Run Star and thought they would work better, but I found that the rubber and insoles on the Lugged were much thicker and better for my feet personally. One note of caution tho: both shoes might actually be comfortable, and maybe I just wasn’t able to find the right pair of the Run Star version. I say that because I bought two identical pairs (same size/color) of the Lugged version from two different distributors and noticed unfortunately really dramatic differences in quality. One pair had buttery-soft canvas, extra thick cushioning, and an extremely springy, durable rubber sole. The other pair felt way cheaper, with rough/scratchy canvas, not as good cushioning, and almost plastic-feeling rubber that felt physically lighter and made a slapping noise on the ground. So possibly that would be the same way with the Run Star (I would have to buy multiple pairs to find a good one). In the end I went with the good quality Lugged one I found and I’m happy with it. Anyway sorry for the long post lol, hope this helps!

The squeaking sound does go away once you wear them on dirt and pavement and stuff
It’s just squeaking because that rubber is all shiny and new in once the souls lose that bit of shine the squeak goes away

I’m trying to figure out the sizing. I buy us men 9 or 9.5 in everything. I don’t know if I’m more comfortable with an 8.5 or 9. What do you think. All Jordans 9s,350s I buy 9s, and 700s I buy 9.5 if that helps.
I'm in between sizes as well, and I have the same question I get my yeezys in a size men's 10 and Jordan's in a 9.5. Vans I get a 10.5 because they're narrow and converses seem narrow as well, so I think im going to buy them in a size 10.5 right now because they're selling out! Good luck🤗

I bought them because I love converse, I own so many of them but because I have wide feet, they are not the most comfy. These are absolutely confortable! So glad I got them 😍 ... they look weird on the shelf but when you wear them, they look bomb

Just buy the size you usually wear, they run true to size. Some poeple say to size down or up and Imo that's bullshit since even official site says they're tts.

I have plantar fascitis and these work perfectly fine for me with no pain. Funny, I bought Brooks and Hoka to help my pain and they are actually hurting me. Regarding size, by now you probably know if you bought them lol I'm typically 10.5 - 11 in everything else and the 11's in these fit great.

Run star hikes run true to size tho, chuck taylors generally are true to size. I got them in my size and they were perfect. Though it may be a matter of difference between sizes since I wear 36
