Caligura the mobster is by far the most evil contestant in Fear and Hunger 2: Termina and fittingly has a decrepit soul. We can see this as he is the only one who will attack unprovoked and takes joy in the carnage he causes. He obtained infamy and the moniker, "Count Dragul" as he is recognized by multiple characters in the game. He will moonscorch into Monster which goes along with his monstrous personality.

@@domingogarcia8903 I don't consider the old Gods evil (maybe Rher a little bit) because they're simply so different from humans. Gro Goroth don't destroy because he's evil but because it's the natural course of the universe that request death after life and life after death. Rher is a bit different because he feels very human emotions like jealousy and anger for human and actively try to go against the natural course of things

Where "Count Dragul" sounds very much inspired by "Count Dracula", it goes a bit deeper than that.
The name Dracula comes from "Dracul" (meaning "The Devil" or in older texts, it was also used for "The Dragon", from the Latin "Draco", as the name of Vlad Dracul, Vlad the Second being part of something called:"The order of the Dragon"), thus Dracula means "The child of the devil/dragon"
However "Dragul", with a "G" actually means something else. It means "the Darling". Thus it can be a very ironic title, as he is certainly not "The Darling" you want around you

Maybe he's got someone he's on good terms with in Prehevil and wants to escape with them from other mobsters, but likely will fail or will find out that they are dead/monnscorched
And Caligura is also a change to Caligula, a Roman emperor
Very nice! I’ve always wondered if Dracula’s name had to do more with Dragons than the devil as you pointed out, Draco means dragon in Latin. I know that Satan or “the devil” is also called a dragon as well as a serpent. Which we know sometimes serpents AND dragons can be the same thing. Like Jormungandr who is called the world serpent. Also he looks like a serpent but he is in fact a dragon. One of the other dragons of ragnarok. I’ve always found it interesting that dragons are evil in western mythology but the complete opposite in eastern mythology. Anyways sorry for the rant I’ve always been fascinated with mythology and history and love it when they combine as in the case of Vlad the impaler

Trotur at least seemed to have been made into a monster because of his location.
Trortur the white was a brave and noble, good-looking knight twisted by the dungeons. Caligura is just human filth given form which fits his moonscorched form.
Since Moonscorched essentially turns someone into their “worst self.” It would have been neat if Caligura’s form barely changed. He was already so terrible that moonscorched had no humanity to strip away.

@@juanig4198 You need to play as Abella (so that you can save henryk), and you also need to reach the ending A (with Kaiser and Logic and all that stuff) AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because otherwise contestants will begin to be moonscorched (or to die)
Every character have a specific way to be saved (sometimes you even need to recruit them) and it is quite long to explain the process for everyone, but you can find them on the wiki or just by exploring the game

There is a ending where the main character who you choose sacrifices themselves and every other contestant that is still alive and not moonschorched will survive and leave Prehevil
@@valeriefortin4464 you don't NEED to play as Abella, but the game is way easier with her
Not because of the meat grinder, but because if you don't play as her, you need to beat the game on morning 1 without saving once, so both Abella and Henryk will not moonschorch
But if you play as Abella, you can save Henryk and then you have until morning 2 to beat the game
I wish you could play with him, doing a genocide run with the other characters just feel off. I can't imagine my girl Olívia blasting Levi in the head with a shotgun.

Which also makes him just look extra _off_ compared to the other contestants.
He's the only one who needs a nose to breathe while the others don't even need one to sniff a smell, I'm guessing there'll be an oxygen meter when he's playable

Moonscorched forms will always represent the character's greatest fears, or the aspects of themselves they feel most haunted by, rather than just their personality, there's totally more to read into with Caligura's as well

Tanaka and Caligura symbolise a yin and yang they have similarity both Japanese nationality (person from Japanese country) have same style outfit have same second position of physical body power. Caligura was the second strongest contestant (the first it's Marcoh) while Tanaka the second weakest contestant (the first it's Olivia). Tanaka have most bright soul while Caligura have most darker soul. Tanaka was kind and very innocent contestant and Caligura was evil and very sadistic contestant. Tanaka have a tidy structure of his soul. Caligura have a untidy structure of his soul. Tanaka moonscorched have most human looking than other contestant in other side Caligura moonscorched have most abnormal and non human looking than other contestant. Tanaka always have sad fate was killed by other contestant or get killed by monster and Caligura have different fate he have most a lot kill count to other contestant. Caligura have aggresive intereaction to other contestant and Tanaka have passive intereaction to other contestant.(That's the end of my theory) Can wait to playable Tanaka and have revenge on Caligura and Needles

You can save it, I don't know how but I've seen several people do it, I suggest you look for a tutorial.

You can save him by recruiting everyone or sending them back to Preheivel Bop (except Henryk) and getting the Machine god ending before anyone is Moonscorched. The trick is to not start his encounters in the overworld or he'll attack Henryk, Levi, or Abella when she sleeps in the mayors bed. These will cause deaths like initiating the Pav encounters in the city before meeting the Kaiser in the tower square.

Termina still keeps getting updates and further developments (partially doesn't affect the main story) like the new area that looks like a pier with carousel and fishing minigame alongside new enemies. So pretty much most, if not all of the contestants will be playable, Funger 3 hasn't even reached blueprint phase yet.
