Iran is a post modern country with unbelievable skyscrapers and glass building! Why you showing off that 700-year-old super traditional bazar! Yep, that’s propaganda!
Not everyone goes to gran bazar to buy stuff majority go to malls like other people bazar is vintage or either very poor people buy stuff there but it is mostly just a relic
I was going to comment here that people are suffering in Iran, because I thought the title referred to big businesses, but this is already a video about normal people suffering.
Totally belive you lol. Why don't you show them saying those craps that came out of your mouths. Dont tell me oh they were afraid.... Iranians are not afraid of saying those on camera.
Thank you for reporting about my country. As an Iranian, I suffer from the Islamic Republic policies more than just sanctions alone, for opening a new shop not just only you should pay a lot of money to the government but also if you are an atheist or agnostic like me you don't have the privilege to do any economical activity in Iran like opening a shop, these cases are clearly mentioned in the law. I had a shop in the east of Tehran and I was forced to close just because of my beliefs, I was not Muslim or Christian or Jewish, or Zoroastrian so I didn't have the privilege to open the shop from day one. As you mention most people don't want to speak to an American journalist it is not because of that they don't like you it is simply because of their safety. Please consider in mind the sanctions itself is just a result of the Islamic Republic policies, the Mullahs poured money into the atomic program, and according to their statements the atomic program was just for electricity, and in the summer we have a lot of blackouts, especially in small cities and towns which shows to me that pouring money into the atomic program was just wasting wealth of a nation. In my point of view, it was better for Iran to fund clean energies like solar. Solar energy is not sensitizing but also it is clean and distributed.
@@sAladins1 I never said that. The sanctions are imposed to reduce human suffering, it's apparent they are working. Your short-sighted perspective on the matter only proves your ignorance.

It's so weird seeing Mary Louise Kelly or just about any NPR newscaster/person IRL. I'm just used to hearing them on the radio or the app.

The sanctions is because of western hegemony . Nothing more nothing less

God shut up with your dumb propaganda. The economic issue in Iran is 70-80% due to sanctions.
