Came for the Halo, stayed for the absolute joy of seeing a newcomer start ER for the first time. The heavy breathing after you've beat a boss is emblematic to a mental place I love to cherish and witness secondhand. The raw satisfaction is something to behold after a lengthy tenuous effort. Excited to see you become Elden Lord as well as Finish the Fight in Halo. ❤️ (subbed)

This is a repetitive NPC Jonesy! All it does is repeat’s itself.
Literally punched the air when you got the win in that fight, what an epic showdown! So great that you enjoyed it - thats the key to these games. I'm not sure I will ever quite get it because I find the bosses so stressful and rarely satisfying...

Stormveil Castle is one hell of a legacy dungeon with a lot of secrets to find. I may of missed it but if Roderika is at roundtable hold if you go back to her shack you will find a golden seed.
Oh excellent fight, great fun, perseverance as always and skill!
Jelly is such a good ally here. Just have to keep her alive long enough for her attacks to poison him (when he sweats green stinky mist - worth watching for ) so he constantly takes damage even when she dies (think it was try 3 as well as the final one) so she always has your back! ❤
And yeah too many young pots being led astray in the Lands Between... 😂

A useful item against gravity death by jumps ... Rainbow Stones, they shatter when tossed if you would die and leave a nice colorfull marker if you would survive the fall also useful for marking "unusual paths" those you will discover in time as there are .any concealed areas in this magical world of death 😮😊

You did really well against all those soldiers and the big guy. Nice escape when the big guy and the dog were trying to keep you from unlocking the grace. You know that was what the devs intended too, Sneaky buggers.
53:43 Definitely THAT'S. Speaking of which, I wonder if Godrick grafted more that just limbs to himself. Guy was probably rocking at least 20 c0cks. Guarantee you that one of them came from a dragon. Thankfully, he didn't use it in the fight.
Great work on Godrick! You earned that. Northern Lass is same girl that your looking for. She's at the Round Table.Levels up your Spirit Ashes. Don't worry about that item, you can only give it to her BEFORE killing Godrick. It's doesn't affect her questline.

Great work, Jonesy! Godrick is no joke. Impressive. Leveling up your summons and weapons is huge. A fully upgraded jelly is damn near indestructible. Find a weapon you like and upgrade the shit out of it. It'll make life so much easier. Keep em coming, Jonesy. Loving these.
The only problem with levelling up the summons is getting the materials which are all in those bloody catacombs 😂💀

Don't forget to check out the (detailed) descriptions of the new items and weapons you picked up on this stream!
One thing I highly recommend doing is:
1) When you are in the Inventory screen, highlight any item you are interested in, and then
2) Look down at the commands, at the bottom of the screen.
3) Press the button that corresponds to "Switch display (mid)".
This will tell you more about the lore of that particular item and, sometimes, even the lore of other things that are associated with it. It may even tell you how to actually use certain things, like armor/weapons/etc to their fullest potential. I steer clear from actually saying what the lore of things are.... but at least this should help you find out more of the game's lore for yourself. 😉

I just put together your Ripley + Jonesy the space cat. It all makes sense now. Nice job on Godrick the Goofy. I'm enjoying your playthrough, have to go back and check out the first three parts still, so I'm not even sure what your build is yet.
Roderika's questline is hard to play out right. You can give her that Chrysalid's Memento at the Stormhill Shack before you kill Godrick at which point she moves to Roundtable Hold either way. If you do give her the Memento at the Stormhill Shack, she weeps, because she can hear the suffering spirits of her grafted men in it, and then says she is going to the Roundtable Hold. Next time you see her at the Hold, she thanks you again for the Memento and gives you the Golden Seed, which she otherwise just leaves behind in the shack. You didn't lose anything other than some more dialog with her.
Before killing Godrick you can bump into Nepheli Loux in Stormveil Castle, where she asks you to summon her to help you in the fight against Godrick. She then appears as a yellow summons sign on the floor outside the Godrick boss fight and will join you in the fight if you wish. She said to talk with her adoptive father in the hold past Ensha, the skeleton armor edgelord guarding the door. Did you do that?
I hope you do take the time to thoroughly explore Stormveil Castle. You can easily miss 50% of it, if you don't pay close attention to the environment there and notice places you haven't gotten to yet.There is an abundance of extras, secrets, and surprises there. My #1 advice for exploration in this game is remember to look up and down at things and over edges as you go. Especially down.
If you go back to the corpse pile in the Castle where you found the Chrysalid's Memento, you will find something new in the same place that will add a little more color to the story.
You can open that glowing cracked statue indeed, but you will need something even bigger than that ugly Omen next to it to do it. Thanks for sharing your playthrough. Cheers!

Don't worry you get to fight him two more times. Since you didn't talk to him when entering the castle, he still shows up here. There's also a summons you could have had help you with him. The woman you'd never seen before.
I highly suggest you watch the first four videos of FightinCowboy's Elden Ring walkthrough, he shows how to get your weapon upgraded early on, and how to get most maps you'll need for a bit. Or videos 2-4 to open the map and get the graces and supplies, you'll need the lantern at some point.

I'm so glad I picked a different class and waited to level up to take on Godrick. Somehow I beat him on my first try. I dunno how you beat him on 1 HP. Sometimes it pays to be lucky.

If you look around the Stormveil throneroom, pretty sure there is a hall next to the throne that leads to another NPC who starts a new questline!
Also, killing the gatekeeper Gostoc just locked you out of a really powerful final upgrade material (the highest level smithing stone for normal weapons), and he has a small part/appearance n two other side quests (you can still get one final upgrade stone in those side quests but NOT two, now that Gostoc is dead; I think there are 13 in the entire game though, so probably don'tworry too much about it)... not sure if his absence affects the side quests or not, but it's generally a good idea not to attack nonhostile NPCs! Also, Gostoc cannot be revived at the Church of Vows.

I strongly suggest you don't kill any npcs in your first run. After you complete Nepheli's quest, the vendor you killed would sell a rare material you can use to upgrade a weapon to max level.
