Do not target a particular number in the IPMAT Exam. Become as fast as Rajdhani Express when the exam starts, just focus on getting maximum correct without compromising your accuracy.
If the exam is hard for you, it is hard for everyone. Don't get worried or panicky. Focus on solving the easy ones. Cutoffs might be as low as IPMAT 2023 (12 marks in SA), which is 3 questions out of 15 in fourty-five minutes.
If the exam is easy, don't get complacent. Focus on speed and solving as many as possible.
The cutoffs of IPMAT are a function of two main parameters: (a) the level of difficulty of the paper, (b) the competency of your competitors. The cutoff is a retrospective number such that top 700-800 students are chosen for the interview.
Make sure to practice various types of Indore mocks (easy and hard) and be prepared to adapt as per the actual exam.

hint: safe score doesn't exist per se
We've also been aspirants so we understand your curiosity. *If IPMAT Indore follows the trends of previous year: (last year cutoff + margin of 20-30 marks) would prolly be your "safe score". However, we can't gurantee that this trend would be followed. Also, a general candidate with 200 marks got in after interview, but someone with 260 marks had failed to clear. The PI round (35%) matters too (almost acts like a veto). It's a very dynamic exam!

There is nothing a person can not, I did give IPMAT Rohtak, and got in while many of my friends here, in iim indore could not get in. it just depends on how well your brain functions at the examination hall. The concepts are basic, and the paper is easy, the only thing you have to keep in mind is the competition. Give mocks, analyse weakness and strengthen your positives. All the best!

Clearing cutoffs only does not guarantee the final selection, there will be hundreds of students who would clear cutoffs, but there would be only few who are scoring 20-30+marks in each section, and those students will get selected only! SIMPLE AS THAT
yep, section-maximisation is key.
Srishti Ananth (non-math, IIM Indore) scored 20 and 44 in SA and MCQ (cutoff was 20 and 43). She maximised VA (148 marks), and got into Indore: czcams.com/video/lpmythahwEw/video.html
For those who are reading, In the ATS video (at the end), Vani breaks down the marks of her classmates, they've either maximised math or english, or both! and this has allowed them to have a high ATS score.
@@AfterBoards that is one such example right!! There would be many like her, who did the same thing but didn't convert the final call, right!
There are people (general) in double digits who have maximised a singular section and made it. But yes, maximising all the sections is much more prudent (and harder, thus yielding more of a safety net).
