The collaborations are nice. I don't think they necessarily ruin a song. Just adding a style from another producer

dubstep artists make better dnb than dnb artists nowadays
bad take...ever seen imanu or the caracal project? phace? trinist, gyrofield, synergy, kung? i could name so many more. id agree with you if this was 2018 (however not many dubstep artists made dnb then), but nowdays dnb is great
edit: i do think a lot of dubstep artists make great dnb though! i just wouldnt shit on dnb artists because theyre just as good
