Peanuts Classic Holiday Collection VHS Box Set Unboxing with Great Pumpkin Thanksgiving Christmas

Here is a unique thrift store find that I just had to pick up to unbox. It is the Peanuts Classic Holiday Collection on VHS. It comes with the three classic features: It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. It also comes with a little blow up chair for kids. It's not too often that you find a brand new and sealed boxed VHS set in 2018, so I just had to have this.

I remember seeing that set in one of my local video stores as a kid one time back in around 2002 or so, though i already had the specials' videos and later DVD's individually it's very cool to see a never opened box set for these classic Peanuts VHS releases from back when Paramount had the license. Sealed copies let alone boxed collections are a rare find indeed, and in a thrift store no less.
I just gotta say, that's an extremely awesome find right there.

WOAH!!! In all of my years of VHS collecting, I have NEVER seen this set before! That's quite a rarity there especially for a boxset! I hope to get this boxset sometime cause I am a HUGE Peanuts fan and to me would be a great addition to my collection :D

I don't Watch VHS'S Anymore but i still have some of them and I think it's totally rare to find VHS tape that we're never open or that it is in box Sats like that

Cool set! I also have a few Peanuts albums on vinyl including the “Storyteller” editions of “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, “Charlie Brown All-Stars”, “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown” and “You’re in Love, Charlie Brown”. All four of these are on the Charlie Brown Record label from 1977 through 1979. It came with a gatefold booklet as well. And I also have the soundtrack to “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” on vinyl as well.

I remember that paramount label you can tell that the label is a 2001 reprint from 1996 my copies are the original with the original sticker label

I know why It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving both have orange clamshell cases but A Charlie Brown Christmas has a red one. The Great Pumpkin and Thanksgiving use orange because the holidays for those specials are Halloween 🎃 and Thanksgiving 🦃, they both involve pumpkins, and pumpkins are orange. Christmas 🎅 uses red because red is the color of Christmas along with my favorite color, green, which is the text color used for the title. Get it?

5:52 I think the thing that fascinates me the most is that there's two different snapshots on the back of Great Pumpkin. The second one is definitely from the special, but what is the first snapshot from? Is it from a deleted scene? Or was it just promotional art? Just something cool to think about.
