    In Summary (rounded figures)
When Moi handed over to Kibaki debt was Ksh 28 for every Ksh 100 earned.
When Kibaki handed over to Uhuru debt was Ksh 18 for every Ksh 100 earned.
When Uhuru handed over to Ruto debt was Ksh 70 for every Ksh 100 earned.
As of today under Ruto, debt is Ksh 90 for Ksh 100 earned.
Total expenses since July 2013 to June 2023 was around Ksh 13 Trillion
Total revenue raised by KRA for same period is around 11 Trillion
Borrowing should have been around Ksh 2 Trillion
    Actual borrowing was 11 Trillion
7 Trillion External Debt { Does not appear in budget)
    5 Trillion Domestic Debt
Uhuru biggest borrowing was Ksh 800 billion for any one given year.
Ruto has borrowed Ksh 1.6 Trillion for the Financial year 2023/2024.
Borrowing in Kenyan Constitution is only allowed for development projects , most borrowings now are for recurrent expenditure which is not allowed by law.

@@mercyyoutubecheptoo9144The only reason Kenyans are mad with him is because, instead of living up to his campaign promises, he has opted to borrow the 'Fuata Nyayo' leaf from his mentor and political godfather.
Jimmy ought to know that our leaders are just greedy accomplces in the scheme to steal our money. The real culprits are the fraudulent international money changers of the 'City of London'. Nations of the world are hopelessly indebted to these crooks. The US government, for instance owes them upwards of US$13T. It therefore really matters little what government takes over, as long as it subscribes to the Ponzi Scheme that is the world's obtaining financial system which is inherently rigged to scheme off real value of goods and services of every nation.

The constraining factor here is economic - most of those needing to view this do not have enough data... it is too expensive, and even taxed too highly! It should be almost free like in Finland and South Korea!
Jimmy Wanjigi, thank you! YOU WERE BORN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE!
Do not take your foot off the pedal. Kenyans are well informed and educated and can understand this issue if they only get to hear it explained.

The debt problem is not peculiar to Kenyan or even African governments for all that matters. The US government's indebtedness, for instance, is way above her neck and still rising. Without ID'ng and pinpointing the real problem, we'll be producing little more than hot-air. The cure to the world's governance and debt problem can only be administered by kicking the money changers of 'the City of London' and their fraudulent fractional reserve banking financial system out of governments and multilateral institutions of the world.

Jimmy, the monster is the economic model not the debt. The constitution was changed but the colonial economic system was deliberately left untouched. World Bank began lending to Kenya in 1960, even before independence. The monopoly of manufacturing is in the hands of people like Chandaria, Raval and Vimal Shah, the godfathers of a ruthless industrial syndicate, which sponsors politicians and anti-competition tax/laws in order to maintain unrivaled supremacy. All human beings have self interests. Therefore, a different president will still bring about the same results if things continue to work the same way. So it will take a logical economic system to keep people accountable.

what needs to be done is to offload all state corporations that are nothing but dens of corruption and the legal system needs to be hardened and leech monopolies need to be wrecked like the vimals,we need tarriffs on imports so that local manufacturing can take off the school system needs to be scrapped and anew one based on true entrepreneurship and rooted in technical studies only has to be created.we need to cut down the government and stop making government jobs lucrative it needs to stop being the source of employment and the private sector need to take on this role but the government can play arole in subsidizing manufacturing and creating tax free economic zones to super charge production, the biggest secret to achieve the kenyan dream is actually to work so hard to make kenyans stop looking at the government as asource of anything except enforcing the laws but to instead look at themselves as source of employment and economic freedom.i left kenya 16 years ago only to find out that i can hire myself and i never need to look for work i wish i knew this back in Kenya

Jimmy is a patriot and knowledgeable on the issue of the Kenyan debt, lets listen to him. There are many more such patriots out here and we care about this country. The focus of the citizens of Kenya now must become the debt issue. Let us resolve it. A judicial commission of inquiry and a forensic debt audit MUST be conducted asap so that we can get Uhururuto to shoulder the debt the borrowed for private endeavors. In retrospect though, these two leaders, Uhuruto were ICC candidates and ICC would have cleaned them for us instead Kenyans and especially the Kalenjin and Kikuyu communities imposed them upon the nation. How sad can it get? See where they have put the country? Sad but not late. We must get them to account. The starting point now is for us to get Ruto out of office, and let him pay what he has borrowed for himself using Kenya as collateral. And Kenyatta should do the same. The change must be given back to the nation. This is the patriotic thing that Kenyans must undertake for themselves and our nation.

Jimmy Wanjigi has had very sound arguments right from before elections. I commend him. For the longest time he never mentions who took the audious debt Kenyans continue to pay. Today he came very close (perhaps the closest he has) by indicating President Ruto helped collect it. Can he follow through with his argument and state who he helped or was with. Contrary to the norm, I find it weird that RAO and UK and even WSR have never responded to his allegations. My only problem is the solution he provides, that Ruto must leave office. So how will whoever comes in detach the sovereign from the debt? Default? Maybe declare it audious and have the culprits bear the blunt personally. If he briefly stepped back from his own political interest he’d come off with some amount of trust. Some of us much as he makes sense, his motive is still suspect. Mr. Jimmy Sir, do you mind putting a case out in court so that whoever borrowed illegally and put money where it wasn’t supposed to be can get prosecuted. A case against BBI won. With Gen Z helping with accountability through the process, the sovereign can win this.

As at now, we are in deficit budget where our total expeditures is 3.9t and kra collect 2.3t in a year. On the other hand, the govt are repaying debt of 1.1t from that of 2.3t, only 1.2t remains to run the whole budget and they have only option of borrowing to meet the expeditures. Kenya is in financial crisis and one day kenya will default on debt even if 20yrs to come…….. my question is , what is the next and best solution to sort dz debt crisis
