- The father of accused child killer Christopher Gregor testified in court Wednesday. David Gregor, Christopher’s father, admitted that despite seeing bruises on Corey Micciolo before his death, he didn’t tell investigators about it when he was questioned after his death. David also said he didn’t think to tell them about Corey tripping on a treadmill either. Christopher is currently on trial for Corey’s death. Investigators believe Corey died from injuries sustained from being forced to run on a treadmill.

Parents won’t watch the treadmill video bc it shows what a monster their son is!
Oh, give it a rest.
What@@documax123what do you mean? It's true he is a monster
@@documax123 I'd be interested to hear what you think of CG. You came to the wrong comment section if you think you're going to hear anything different.
Doc must be a family friend.
Chris’s demeanor is striking. His face is “set” hard and petulant at the same time. I see this look in young children who are in abusive and neglectful situations. I don’t know what to make of it.
I would hope my Grandfather would have the balls to view the evidence and put the person who tortured and murdered me behind bars for life.
Cant be questioned about it if he says hes not watched it i guess.
He even said " I can't watch it because I don't want to see my grandson being mistreated". That statement alone should go against the defendant.
Amen
@@rm3015He called the cops & told them to go to the hospital. He‘s a cop so he probably knew.He had a connection with his grandson & I believe people have told him about the details on the video & probably doesn‘t want to watch it.
Agreed! Especially having the background that he has???!!!
How awful to love your son and your grandson and then realize your grandson was killed by your son...........
It is awful and don't blame the parents.
Sad, but this happens a lot. On both sides.
While others say grandpa had to have known, or created this personality in his son, I know exactly what it’s like to have insane family members who seem to have grown whole cloth from Mars…you don’t have to love cops to see that this veteran cop is utterly broken by this situation. Sometimes parents raise people who turn out to be total strangers to them. RIP Corey. Sounds like the grandparents gave the poor child some love.
And that you are fully responsible for forcing your son to be in your grandsons life.. That you let him move out of your home and take your grandson more than an hour away and completely away from all supervision.... That you ignored bruises....That when your son left your dying grandson at the hospital he fled states and states away.... How awful to defend your delinquent son and not your innocent grandchild. How awful.
😢😢😢
27 Years as a State Trooper, a mandated reporter, but didn’t think to tell investigators about bruises he saw on his grandson?? HMMM.
Amen!!!
Deplorable!
He knows diesnt want to say it because saying makes it so in denial he's Protecting his son chris
Kids have bruises all the time. Corey said it was from running on a treadmill. That doesn't sound like a bad thing.
Maybe his sons had bruises and cuts too during their childhood and teenage years? Maybe pushing thrm to far was Granddad's way of raising his children/ boys in order to make them tough?
It is very sad when a parent cannot accept his son is a monster... This poor baby could be saved but they did nothing
Where was the proof (at that time) that he was, apart from a bruise/scrape on his forehead which the family discussed and Cory said he had fallen on the treadmill, which is how a 6 year old would answer - he wouldn't go into details. I am sure Cory was astounded at the life he was now experiencing and would not want to lose it either, just as he would not want to lose his Dad no matter what he was like, he had never had one before, nor all the luxury he was having now, poor kid, delusional yes but so understandble. I do not believe the Grandparents knew but I do believe they are in total shock, certainly the Father is, watch him coming out of the dock he does not even look at his son. It is a dreadful case and hope the findings are correct ones and soon!!
1000% UNFORGIVABLE what he did!
So many lives destroyed because this P.S couldn't stand his son, yet took him away from the mother who did love and want him.
Heartbreaking doesn't even begin to describe what happened here.
I can't look at him; he's beyond abominable.
his mother is a meth head...do you really think Corey was safe with her too
What is more heart breaking than Corey's mom, suspicious of Christopher, having to return her own child to the father that killed him or risk getting arrested and penalized for having violated the custody arrangement and giving christopher, a plausible defense for possibly having corey die in the mom's arms and custody?
@tigerlancer
I think you meant to say “suspecting mom”.
The child’s father is clearly the most evil of beasts, which never should’ve had custodial care of ANYONE OR ANYTHING!
Oh yeah, that's what I meant say. Thanks.
Most cops look the other way when a man is violent and we all know why
Does the Grandad not think it's inappropriate for a six year old to be running on a treadmill!
Obviously he does! If he didn't he'd watch the video!
Right So why wasn't grandpa asked Did u ask Corey Why he was on the treadmill
Did u ask ur son Why
Did u ask grandpa if he asked did it hurt
Did dad put anything on it
When did it happen
Plus I've read cps told Chris Not to let Corey on the treadmill anymore bc one time he came home with a tread mark from his face down to his leg
What a DISGRACE this case is
When as a society are we going to do Better by our children
They should make them watch it, I am disturbed by it and I am a stranger. They are all the same probably, where did his son learn to be like that?
You can’t blame it on the grandparents. They trust that their son would never mistreat his son.

You are just heartless!
Totally. The grandfather is holding back tears, clearly emotional. Christopher? Nothin’.
The grandpa had a lot of experience working as a trooper and now as a consultant. How come he never asked his son about the treadmill incident? Wasn't it obvious to him that a 6 years old child should not be running on a treadmill? And then he never mentioned that to the police when he was interviewed? He, the grandpa raised a murderer. As much as parents love their children they should not cover up their wrong doings. It's too late to show emotions now.
Yup reminds me of my ex he's abusive to my kids but fighting for rights and the grandparents cover for their son
Maybe his father had alot to d with him being a monster
I don't think he meant to hold anything back. I may be wrong but in his mind he probably thought oh well he couldn't have hurt himself too badly on a treadmill. Like I said, idk the history. He could be a very decent man. And he could be the opposite. We don't know him. He DID say he didn't watch the video cuz he didn't wanna see Cory mistreated.
@@marshapieroni6677and he's a d*mn coward, too, for not watching the video. Maybe he has a guilty heart because what made his son such a dadgum bully? I looked up the details. That happened in 1995. Sadly a lot has changed since then. Parents are failing their children.
Mother brought him for 4 years of corey's life. Grandparents took over after that. Soon after Corey lived with his Father. Within 6 months Corey was dead. Jury members don't need to be rocket scientists to figure out defendant is the killer.
Corey showed his injuries from running on the treadmill and asked his grandparents for help, but they thought it was a minor injury and did nothing. And after that, he didn't tell the detective about it, and he still refuses to look at the CCTV?? ☹
They asked him and he told. He didn't ask for help. Dont make chit up. The case us bad enuf.

I'm so angry with Christopher's parents... They knew what a problem their kid was, his temper, that he's a whiny baby who needs his way, that he was a lazy uninvolved father, and they still supported him in getting full custody. Probably just to save face like all this nonsense.
You're grandson deserved so much more. How dare you let Chris take him out of your home and hours away and how dare you defend him now. OH. And how dare you refuse to watch the video!?
Corey deserved so much better. How does a child whos lived in a loving home for 5 years get yanked out and sent to live with strangers!?! Money. The state would rather give the child to a stranger than give the child free heath care.
And of course they would never have hoped Christopher had 'turned a corner in life' 'was now adult enough to be a decent Father' 'realised where his responsibilities lay' course not, they would just judge him as guilty - give up will you he is their son and Cory their Grandson they will be trying their hardest not to totally fall apart.
@@user-jz5ye1iu3k They didn't have a right to use Corey as some kind of tool in an attempt to get their mess-up of a son to learn some responsibility. I think you've gotten dangerously close to the truth in this one. I might have held space for them inspite of all that had either one of them shown any amount of humility on the stand but they didn't. They wanted to get up there and try to throw dirt on the biological mother's name, point fingers, deflect, and then still had the nerve to say they don't want to watch the video!?! Corey Slamming down at the speeds the treadmill was moving was at quite a high velocity over and over, is what I believe caused his heart valve to tear and which caused liver lacerations. But don’t forget autopsy also showed bruising behind his scalp found at autopsy and the forehead and numerous other new and old bruises. My father played pro football ball and my kids never got bruising from him playing football with them. When kids are 6 you’re suppose to be gentle, they are fragile. This monster also told Corey’s mom he needed to be toughened up? That idea comes from someone who’s violent. And then the violent history of the father and arrests. Who paid child support the parents or the father? Then the bone chilling Google searches and heavy smell of vomit in Corey’s bedroom I have no doubt this father killed him!! When they showed Corey’s bedroom in court, Chris didn’t even cry that should have been a very emotional moment and it wasn’t

This!
Chris had a criminal record in Baltimore, assault, robbery, destruction of property, drugs. Breanna doesn't have a record. The only way the judge gave him custody had to be the grandfather's doing, with his influence and money. That's probably how Chris wormed his way out of all those charges. Although, he was fired from his teaching job and lost his real-estate license because he couldn't be around children, I'm baffled by why the judge would've given him custody. And don't forget all those bruises. Smh
Seems like he learned this behavior from his father. Why would he break out with “sports equipment” as soon as he came over? Christopher learned this behavior from his father Corey’s grandfather who helped him run from the law.
Yesss?? Sick, I commented this as well
It just seems like he absolutely hated the news that he was a father and he obviously hated the mother. He had a girlfriend and he had a planned out life for himself, and it was now all about to change. He probably would’ve not taken Corey, but it seems like his parents were happy and welcoming to their grandson. He absolutely hated every bit of this and took it out on Corey. He was so bitter he finds out you’re a father, you owe a lot of child support, and you hate his mother that was a lot for him.
Absolutely, and child support in new jersey is no joke. Subconsciously, he wanted nothing to do with this inconvenience, so he beat him to death, now he will die in prison.
I agree! He hated both Corey and Corey’s mom.
Why did he hate Bre so much? He should have been grateful that she did not have him arrested for s assault of a minor,
@loosie5224 cause he did want the kid. Child support in New Jersey is no joke. Also, he's a demon who his dad enabled. Chris is pure evil 😈..no doubt about it. Men don't want kids with women who thy think are for the streets, But to beat an innocent boy to death is sickening.
First graders don't have much homework. Doesn't take much to just look in backpack. The dad had to know the kid wasn't in kindergarten because there's no "curriculum" like the grandpa mentioned since it's mostly playing and learning at school. So it should have been obvious he was a first grader. Chris was jealous that his dad was so involved with Corey. He has criminal record probably acting out to get Dad's attention. He resented Corey.

I suspect Dad’s overwhelming grief is having a monster killer as a son, and trying once again to minimize his egregious actions and get him off the hook.

That he was placed with that monster speaks to the view of his family facade of appearing to be upstanding citizens.
Given Christopher’s criminal record, arrest for drugs and drug paraphernalia and temporary loss of custody, his parents stepped in to minimize his violent history time and again.
Sad for Corey and his mom, and for those who truly loved him.
Distraught, Chris’s family knew the monster they raised, no doubt it hurts them to be where they are.
Some parents would not cover for murderous actions of their child, however it seems this has been a long pattern in their relationship.
R.I.P. Corey, beyond 💔heartbreaking. 😔
From Europe
I had the same thoughts, he was drying his dry eyes!
Grandpa knows the truth he seen more than we could imagine, he knows guilty when he sees it…. I feel sorry for the grandpa he really seems hurt and emotional….
I feel bad for him also. He's in a bad spot but he knows the truth.
Amen. Apples don’t fall far from the tree. NJ cops are historically corrupt. Period.
I don't feel sorry for the grandfather, who knew what his son was doing. And did nothing. What's wrong with you people
@@user-zf6xe5nj1wyes! He didn’t protect his grandchild and he KNEW!!!
What? He didn’t protect his grandchild. He knew, yet did nothing to save his life. He should be in jail for negligence 😡
He had alot of nerve pulling him from his mother when he had no part in the childs life until he was 5! He probably didnt want to pay CS
I think, it's the grandparent idea to get full custody of Corey since he mentioned he was their first grandson.
If Mom really wanted the child she shouldn't have involved the people who didn't even know he existed! She obviously was in it for the money not the child.😢
@@lizolson282 he's still a dirt bag regardless
@@lizolson282 Breanna never involve him in Corey's life. He allegedly Sa'ed her at 16. She got pregnant, he wants her to get an abortion but she doesn't believe in abortion. She gave birth and raised Corey without asking for help from him. Her family help her takes care of Corey. When he was 4, they asked for foodstamp from the state. The state asked who the father was and DNA test. It's the state who oblige him yo pay for child support. Check the facts first b4 you comment non sense.
He should be charged with obstruction & aiding in coverup of murder
So, Grandpa only commented on helping Corey with homework everyday, not I spent time with Corey, I talked with him, we had a snack etc. 🙄
Criticize only when you are perfect
I wholeheartedly believe Grandpa loved Corey. It sounds like he was strict towards his children & strict with Corey, to an extent. He would have given Corey structure. I believe he was in denial that Chris was taking responsibility for his son. He's seen the treadmill video & he also knew Chris had a temper. It too late for him to rescue Chris.
The grandfather sounds like Robert Deniro in Meet The Fockers 😂
PEOPLE: those who are parents & grandparents, THINK how you would feel even if in your heart you knew your son did this !!! How horrible it has to be for this grandfather!!!!!!
Exactly!
I agree
Sorry meant to say this grandpa has covered up for Chris his whole life. The authorities need to look into why no one at child protection thought Briannas concerns were valid. It had to be because this grandpa got involved as a retiret trooper and with homeland security. These people are gross.
I was thinking the same thing. He has some power.
It is sad because his grandparents couldn't see the pain behind his happiness to see them. He was probably so happy because his dad wouldn't dare hurt him in their presence and because Corey loved his grandparents and they loved him.
Fake tears and lies from this uncaring grandfather!
When answering to questions from HIS lawyer, he said he basically felt like Corry's father, doing all the stuff with him. When the other lawer asked the same question, he said he was "one of the people" doing that stuff with Corry...
His parents and lawyer aided in him being gone- they are losing someone needs to get the actual phone call in audio recordings
Cory should never have been taken from his home and give to these people
The defense attorney reminds me of the Mayor of Munchkinland in the "Wizard of Oz." 😳😲😳
So mere days after his son dies, Christopher is at a "hiking retreat" somewhere!?!?!?
Protecting his own .. knowing the truth. What a shame, but no one wants to throw their kid under the bus, even when they know the truth. The whole world sees that video .. time to pull their heads out of the sand, sad as seeing this grieving grandpa was. Heartbreaking any way you look at it.
His grandfather is in denial
He dosent think his son did it purposely
He called his mom, not his Dad, he knows she will believe anything he says
Heartbreaking 💔💔💔💔💔
Now i know where Chris got his abusiveness from.
That grandfather is clearly in a lot of emotional pain and grief. Just where are you getting abusive from? Corey was NOT harmed let alone killed in the grandfather's care. If anything I think Chris was bitter about how much his dad wanted him to have custody and maybe even some jealousy of his own son due to the father's attention.
I raised 4 kids ,i feel heart pain to hear this ,innocence little boy,R I P.
This is the first video where Christopher doesn't look angry
He's smug
My heart breaks for all involved in this case, except for Corey's dad Christopher.
You knew better sir
Holy CRAP! Granddad didn't know what GRADE he was in!!! They weren't paying attention.
Not really surprising.
Men aren't always in tune to some things
You and your wife should have help Corey's mother more too keep he and kept your son away from him. Corey would be alive if he had never met this monster.
CG looks SO EVIL. He looks at his father with such hate in his eyes and on his face.
Sooo is the state trooper's son gonna testify?
I bet not!
@@user-ik3vd5sc9dwill he not be so arrogant that he will want to take the stand ?
This family is just like Casey Anthony's!!!
Right let's see him get on the stand and start speaking ill against his own father and mother for sympathy and leniency.
Tragic...I really feel for the Granddad...decent bloke, how does he ever get over it?
Do they have any pictures with Corey of him smiling or hugging them?😢
Christopher was treated like a teenager. His parents knew it was best to supervise him.
Did "Christopher" ever do anything for himself or did mommy and daddy do everything for him smh...he's a spoiled little brat and STOP wiping away those fake tears!
Has he really not seen the treadmill video?
would you? i don't know if i could stomach it in his position.
In denial.
He needs to see with his own eyes what his son did to his child. Unreal
He's lying, lawyer told him to say that to avoid questioning of it. Both parents are lying.
@@zubetp I actually saw it without trying. It’s on the feed. If I believe my son did nothing wrong, I’ll watch it to defend him.
I think he knows he raised a monster and doesn’t want to face that.
(Former) Cops (still) know how to testify. Remember that.
💯
Bingo! He’s working that eye contact and meep-like smiles to the jury!
My heart hurts for that family. Corey was a beautiful boy. This is such a terrible thing & totally preventable. No reason a child should run on a treadmill let alone SO LONG!
Having a son who killed your only grandson…..he is guilty and this man knows it. Disgraceful!
So he was in a relationship with Laura, but had been seeing Marcie, and texted with her, the night before Cory died, about their date, and what kind of pizza. He discussed cuddling with her all night, after he destroyed her (I wouldn't date a guy that referred to intimacy as destroying me, but what do we expect from a guy, that was a teacher, who met Cory's mom when she was 16, and had her pregnant by 17.....Did anyone check with Marcie and make sure she wasn't underage too?
Yes !! That is what I wanted more testimony about. Why was he planning a date with Marcie if he had custody of Corey that night ? Was he going to take Corey on the date? was he going to "destroy" her while Corey was sleeping? There was also mention of texts to other women he met online? Imagine going on a date with a guy you met online and learning that he killed his son just hours before your date.!
@@loosie5224 It's weird, I got Scott Peterson Vibes from him, before I knew anything about the case. I know both cases are different,. However he way his family held him in such regard, knowing what he was. once he was alone with the child, and the responsibility, he murdered his own son to make it go away. 16, that is how old Cory's mom was when this guy assaulted her, and gave her a son at 17.
Poor grandfather is fighting hard to not lose control. He obviously loved Corey. He is in pain over all of this. 😢
Daddy cant handle whatching son treating little man on treadmill. Very sad.
So sad, this grandpa is devastated form his death.
