- Welcome to the Invokation Akademy Review Session, where I go over all the changes to GITCG from the latest update, and give you my first impressions to get you better prepared for the new metagame.
In this second part of the Version 4.3 review, we go over all 5 of the new monster cards: La Signora, Azhdaha, Thunder Manifestation, Dvalin, and Scorching Loremaster. Monster cards always come with very unique mechanics - and these 5 are no exception! But, unique mechanics means a lot of text, and if you're not familiar with Genius Invokation it can be a bit overwhelming to read it all. So, let me give you an in depth guide on all the mechanics, so you not only know how to play and build decks around the characters, but can also play against them more effectively - as we'll probably be seeing them quite a lot in the coming meta!

What is Genius Invokation?

Genius Invokation TCG (GITCG) is a card game inside Genshin Impact! To unlock this game mode, you will need to reach AR32 in Genshin and complete the associated quest. The entire game is free to play. - Hry
Thunder Manifestation might be the most OP in this update,not just the lock on ability but also the deamge , think he mighet get nerf next patch.
It's strong but may not be strong enough for a 1 patch nerf but we'll see!
Dont forget about alhaitam
I recommend using the loremaster with dehya and manifestation to abuse the quickswap for an enormous damage and disrupt the opponents strategies while healing dehya with the new artifact.
Could be a plan - though I would still prefer the more aggressive pyro chars in that setup though. Dehya and Loremaster together for sure add a lot of tankiness - could be a thing once we get resonance to make it worth running

I've been having fun with a semi-freeze deck with Sig, Childe, and Mona, focusing on the DoT via Sig's debuff and Childe's talent (with Fatui reso and four leaf sigil shenanigans). Had a couple very funny games where reso gave me Hydro when a key character on the other side had Cryo app (and vice versa) XD
That one sounds pretty good too, honestly so many possibilities, she's so flexible as a character

Yeah I was really excited to get to use the boss tracks for these. Dvalin's theme too is such a banger and I miss farming him for materials for the music!!
Signora + thundering manifestation combo is so good!
Yep, definitely noticed that combo taking off. It's a good way to prevent your opponents from even swapping off to deny the reaction!
Dang, why Dvalin is not considered in "mondstadt" faction, he one of the four winds ;__;!

I've been using Dvalin in a Hypercarry deck with Raiden and Bennett, cause even with Total Collapse he can't do too much. I started by trying him in a Cryo Swirl deck with Shenhe and Lynette but eventually started looking for another deck cause it wasn't working too effectively for me
Thundering Manifestation is really crazy cause of the passive, seeing it in decks gives me fear. Yet to make a deck with it myself!
Signora is currently in a Freeze/Melt/Vaporize deck but I've been looking to find a good Fatui resonance and other reaction decks with her
Nice! Yeah Dvalin Bennett is definitely something you can try like with Cube.
@@blepthecat Compared to the Electro Hypostasis however, I think Dvalin has more potential to sweep especially if you're lucky to get Swirl reactions
I would HIGHLY recommend using Xiao instead of Sucrose or another Anemo for Dvalin decks. I tested every other Anemo (even Maguu-Kenki) and Xiao is the best for 1v1 or 1/2 since he benefits off both parts of Collapse and against faster decks like RXN you want to rather apply collapse then use Xiao to clean up since his skill turns into 5 and his NA turns into 4.
The deck also has a very cool combo line that depending on your opening hand can go off turns 2-3 where you have both Shenhe Burst and Icy Quills up to hit 5 cost prepare for 8+6+6 if no swaps around it. If they do swap then they're taking 4 free damage and you maintain elemental application for later.
As for if it's better or not than Wanderer version that I can't say as of yet. Once I've ironed out the list fully I'll begin doing compare tests and I'll let you know! 🫡
Haha definitely don't have a doubt Xiao and not playing Falls and Fortune would be better, but I really just wanted to highlight those two cards.

Something that i feel really should have been mentioned with signora and azdaha is using things like storm terror lair, sumeru city, or capricious visage to lower skill and more importantly talent card costs making them have access to massive turns with their now dice generating instead of dice fixing talent cards, also I ran the double anemo shenhe dvalin deck but with kenki, kenki anemo summon is a pretty good way to proc total collapse
Yeah in decks running both definitely would be worth adding Stormterror's. Unfortunately the videos are long enough as it is so I never have time to go over all the possibilities, just give a high level one and point out maybe some less obvious synergies.

I've been using Signora, yelan, shogun team and it works great

He can absorb elements twice tho. But he won't generate e.g. hydro dice twice
Ah interesting - totally missed that detail. Though without the dice benefit for the most part absorbing something twice isn't a huge deal. Thanks for the correction!
Is falls and fortune good in freeze?
It can definitely work well in freeze - though a lot of freeze decks once they combo don't care so much if the opponent swaps because the goal is to leave the opponent unable to use all their dice anyway. Probably better off playing cards that help you get to your combo turn
How to counter davalin? Any advice?
Overload freeze, and anemo chars that force swaps are always great against prepare skills.
Otherwise remeber you can always swap twice to make sure Dvalin hits the same char 3 times to minimize swirls.
If they are setting up with Bennett, you can play a deck with an FTK to force them off Bennett and make it harder to burst. Hope that helps!
