I have been a Rutger Hauer fan for probably 40 years. Ever since I saw Ladyhawk the first time. (The stunning Freisian stallion he rode was also amazing... and owned by a farm not too far from me.)
I've always loved Morgan Freeman as a person and actor of the highest degree. His subtlety and tact are always dead on point. For anyone who wonders what my idea of TACT is simple....it's the art of telling someone to go to hell in such a nice, polite way they actually look forward to the trip.
I love the fact that this entire scene and work up to this scene is in a Batman movie. Like no other Batman trilogy takes time to make this kind of scene or arc. It fits too and actually drives the trilogy forward
Honestly that is why my favorite is Batman Begins, even more so than the other parts of the Nolan trilogy. It has a strong focus and story and character development that other superhero movies usually are lacking.
