Mem please make me a diagnosis. My report feature. Biospy from rectum history proctitis
Microscopic description: Section show mild increase in inflammatory cells infiltrating lamina propria of rectal mucossa comprising lymphocytes, plasma cells and neutrophils. Surface lining epithelium shows Intraepithelial neutrophils. Crypts are regular. No Cryptitis, crypt abscess or Granuloma seen
Impression:suggestive of chronic active proctitis.
