Case One. This image shows the femoral head. Here is the articular cartilage, and you can see a defect between the articular cartilage and the underlying bone. Notice how the underlying bone itself looks unusual. It has this grey-white lesion that extends into the underlying cancellous bone. You can see that very spongy appearance, which is classic for avascular necrosis. Remember, the overlyin...

Colon adenoma with misplaced epithelium - case 3

Misplaced epithelium in the context of colonic adenomas is a phenomenon that can sometimes mimic invasive cancer, making the histological assessment crucial for accurate diagnosis and management. Here are the key features you mentioned, explained further: Resemblance of the Misplaced Epithelium to the Overlying Adenomatous Epithelium: This indicates that the epithelium found deeper in the tissu...

amazing video
How to eliminate it doctor?
GREAT! its precisely to identify these coccoid or cocco-bacillary forms that we resorted to IHC for Hpylori; the staining is usually so crisp; we are thereby saving a lot of time and are less stressful! previously, we were trying to identify only on H&E.Tanq.
this is really fantastic, Vikram, many thanks indeed. Would you do something on the spy glass biopsies of the bile ducts- we have started getting these from today? Thanks.

"The passage does not explicitly state a specific target percentage for increasing the representation of women in authorship roles. However, one relevant quote suggests the ultimate goal is equal 50% representation: "you mentioned it's it's up to about 35% now um but that's still not 50% and um you know having people from among that 35% step forward to say hey I would be good at this" This quote is referring to the current 35% representation of women on editorial boards, which Dr. Collins notes is "still not 50%". By contrasting it with 50%, the implication is that achieving an equal 50% representation of women is the desired end goal, at least for editorial board membership. While not directly stated for authorship roles, it can be reasonably inferred that an equal 50% gender distribution is likely the target there as well, to achieve true parity and overcome historic underrepresentation of women." why stop at 50%, why not 60 or 70%.

Null pattern p53 staining regarded as mutant.
I will just go for HG and not mention p53 in my report- probably wouldnt have done it either. Having said that it looks wild but noticably in spindled to columnar nuclei- are they at all staining the atypical cells. So in other words is this p53 mutant loss or null pattern even?
GREAT EXPLANATION , THANKS
Very well explained Sir , thank you Sir
Hilarious voice over and closing graphics, great lesson otherwise.
Dear Vikhram , this makes total sense. Few months ago I was taking iron supplements and suddenly all sorts of stomach issues started. I was diagnosed with reactive mild gastropathy. Last few months I have stopped taking iboprophne , alcohol and iron but still have symptoms … can you elaborate on what it takes to heal ?
