    "you mentioned it's it's up to about 35% now um but that's still not 50% and um you know having people from among that 35% step forward to say hey I would be good at this"
    This quote is referring to the current 35% representation of women on editorial boards, which Dr. Collins notes is "still not 50%". By contrasting it with 50%, the implication is that achieving an equal 50% representation of women is the desired end goal, at least for editorial board membership.
