Driving Scenic and Dangerous road in Italy | The TUNNEL Road to Reggio Emilia | 4K

The Tunnel Road was build to speed up the route from Reggio Emilia to the Apennines Region (Castelnuovo Ne Monti), and the Valico del Cerreto! The Tunnels was build in the 90s-00s to reduce time from 3h to less the 1h. The old track (XVII) was called "Strada Ducale di Lunigiana".

Very beautiful road in The Appennines, enjoyed it a lot! The road has many tunnels and bypasses some villages, it is much better than other roads in the area. Drove once SS12 from Modena to Lucca, it was much more curvy. Maybe you can film also the drive further south over Cerreto Pass, it is definetely worth driving there. Thanks a lot for sharing, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany!

Cerreto pass in one of my favorite roads in the Appenines, by motobike! SS12 is the Abetone Pass, also nice for the view!
