This Thursday we did a little garden tending and suffered through a small potato harvest (the mosquitoes where wicked) while taking care of our daily evening chores.

We do too! Although this spring we did have a few late nights spent chasing the ducks off the pond and into their house. 🤣 Thankfully they were quick learners.

Put straw or grass clippings in your outside laying boxes, and they'll lay in them!

So with the tomatoes and string trellis do you tie the string to the bottom of the stalk so it stays straight and secure?

At the time we didn’t have any mature roosters covering our flock. So none of the eggs she was laying on were fertile.
