What's your rivet gun and rivet used in 4:10 ? Thanks! Great build! I use blind rivets and a standard gun, it takes about 2 triggers sometimes 3 to set the rivet. :(
The aluminium takes all the force. The wood only offers rigidity and compressive strength. The tacks will fair better under a sudden violent impact than wood glue will on joints like this. If they were dovetailed or similar it would be different
