I'd love to see more please. And i'm sure you'll realize that it meant that when you craft a Workbench Tier 2; that means enemies will be Tier 2. One of the tips was saying that a Tier 3 enemy will have Military gear on them and will deploy drones (whoa!)

Honestly the game looks jank. You have the patience of a great man to be able to play stuff like this for as long as you do. I for one appreciate it though, you have saved me money, but you have also turned me onto awesome games I otherwise never would have found.
This game has asset flip written all over it. I hope I am wrong, but it smells of it so strong I would not buy it unless a year from now it has really progressed and is still actively being worked on.
If you like hiring mercenaries Kage, you need to play War of the Walkers or Rebirth mod for 7 days. Especially Rebirth when you can send them out to repair your horde base or get materials.
I definetely want to see more of this game. Great work. :)
First impressions the knife should be an axe, the stats icons look realllllllllllllllly out of place
This looks kind of meh, not going to lie. The reviews on Steam are quite interesting too, in a not so good way. Hopefully they stick at it and flesh things out but it looks like an avoid for now for me at least. As others have said though, if you keep making videos about it I'll watch to see how things are progressing (or not lol).

Thanks for giving it a go, really appreciate you trying all these games to see which ones are good. This one does seem very early access, maybe one or two more videos to show some poi's and looting, and maybe a horde wave. It does look pretty but hitting a stone with a knife, 🤣🤪🤣

By the way, if you remove the sleeping bag it resets the clock to zero. That's how I was able to have plenty of time to build a strong shelter with traps and barricades and even a crossbow to take them out at a distance behind blocks of woods.

I'll watch the series if you continue it, but I'm gonna pass on this one personally. Zaxtor's steam review basically set that in stone for me.
cool stuff, and there's a small lake you can drink out of and put the fish traps in, plus its where I put my place cause there's a lot of flat land and trees.
Build a shelter up the trees, the only safe place as long as you have a way up and back down for supplies.

id love to see more, still deciding if i should buy this game. i am super curious about them attacks on your base, currantly i am playing SOTF and The Infected. i think the attacks on The Infected are a lil to vanilla. I Hope in this game they come in hords, so you really need to work on defense and prepare. it looks very prommising this game! Also you have this game tagged under ''The Forest''. there is a gamecontent tag for ''Start Over''

This looks like an updated version of a game called AfterInfection. Very same building mechanics with the plans and the hammer etc, same visuals, same storage system, same crafting table with turn on and off key, also same hot key issue, etc etc. Wonder if it is the same developer and they’ve abandoned the first game.

as far as the building goes, it looks like it was modeled after Rust. which ironically had zombies in it's early access but moved to a pvp heavy model.

Pretty much only thing I like in this is the terrain and pretty realistic trees. 7 Days to Die should take notes from The Forest game and this and improve terrain and forests a bit more alike
I'd like for them to optimise the crap out of things more than anything else. I get 30-40fps in my end game tech base with a 4080. It's always run like garbage for how bad it looks lol.

Idk, slashing and stabbing onto trees and rocks with a knife in order to gain metal ore, stone and wood sounds kinda silly to me.

i love early access games, and play tons of them. i am afraid that it seems there are games that should not be seeing the light of day yet running rampant on steam. this among a million others is definitely not ready for end user consumption. devs need to be more patient with their title and bake more in and put a tiny bit of polish before they release it for money especially.
