Hi Lauren totally understand how overwhelming it all is. 2 years ago I had my AMH checked after having my left ovary and fallopian tube removed due to being crushed by a tumour. I felt discussing it overwhelming but then at the start of this week started to worry my other ovary would fail. I had my AMH and follicles checked and the levels had dropped. I am still single so decided to get an anonymous sperm donor and go through IVF. I had one embryo transferred and 2 frozen. I’m now 7 weeks pregnant and can’t believe it. I wish I could’ve had a fairytale wedding then excitement of having a baby with my husband; but I just couldn’t risk losing out on being a mom and carrying my baby ❤

Hi Lauren! Thank you for sharing everything with us. You are right about giving yourself grace. I discovered your channel because at the beginning of this year I was diagnosed with PMBCL and I went through REPOCH regimen.
I was 28 and I am married so I did embryos freezing before chemotherapy. It was frightening and very confusing time. I think you are an amazing girl and you’ll overcome everything. I know a girl that wasn’t able to do fertility preservation before starting REPOCH and post chemo did 2 cycles of IVF. Freezing eggs maybe it could be less effective but you could do more rounds and then having more opportunities for success.

And now I’m really concerned about fertility too !
I just want to ask you a question did your period return after chemo?and if yes when?
And did you have any kind of injections gnrh inhibitors that kind of shut down the ovaries ?
Yes, but it took several months to get back my regular cycle. I didn't have a period all throughout chemo. I did not have any injections!
