- The main event at the Kilfenora Trad Music Weekend was this outdoor ceili in The Square, Kilfenora, Co Clare, with the Kilfenora Ceili Band. We danced five sets, the Kilfenora (3:37), Clare Lancers (25:13), Caledonian (49:30), Connemara (1:22:46) and Plain (1:41:40), plus waltzes (1:10:02). Band leader John Lynch was presented (43:31) with a gift commemorating his more than thirty years with the band, and later John remembered past members of the band (1:36:10). The band closed the ceili with the national anthem (2:02:44). The voice of the band is flute player Gary Shannon (off-screen to the right).

Absolutely enjoyed this time watching ... love dancing and music.... my heart is so happy hearing Irish music.... I am me Mothers daughter...

I know all of these but I can't seem to put names to tunes. I've rembered the boyne hunt, down the broom, Rattigan's, Maggie in the wood, the red haired lass, Molly Ban, and my favourite reels ever, the new mown meadow, the maids of castlebar and the Kilfenora reels at the very end which includes the Connemara Stocking and tear the callico. That's the thing, you can know a tune back to front and inside out and still not know the name.
Love to hat place great xptlace to bring up your kiddos buut u have to behave to live there and if u love music it’s the best
