I am in the process of making a major shift in my mindset, and sometimes get frustrated by the way I seem to take 2 steps forward, 1 step back, dt self sabotage...I am learning not to beat myself up, to use the negative to trigger more positive response in myself. Today I managed to 'surf' a wave of negativity by doing my yoga, taking care of my body, walking my dog, moving rocks, talking to a friend, and not beating myself up for not being optimally productive today. Life can get so dark when we keep things inside it really hits home for me i tried to commit suicide last year and ended up in the phyqueward and was just in such a dark place and after so much work i now feel so greatful to be alive and am glad there is people out there like you helping so many lives because we all need some help sometimes. god bless man!!
One of my intentions for this year has been to really focus on serving people. I've been trying to find a way for the past 5/6 to help men and young men struggling, due to my own experiences and spending that time learning. Worrying about how I am going to earn money has partly held me back. This interview has reaffirmed my need to do that, for others but also for myself, irrespective of the financial success. I just need to find more people in that space to connect with and learn from.
AMEN. when I take the time to give myself credit I feel tons better. It's not always easy! it's easy to think of what you could do, who is doing better, where you could have done better, and while these thoughts are needed to be realistic if you don't take the time to congratulate your self on your achievements...those other things bury you.

This was an amazing interview, never heard of this guy before but now I have a great respect for him, especially how humble and transparent he was. Excellent interview Lewis, great flow man. Thank you for setting the tone for my day. It helped alot
3 lessons I learned in life :
- Be kind to self and be kind to others.
- People only value you as much as you value your self.
- Understand that some people don't have empathy, so don't expect it from them.
