What a great intro!!! Just keeps you thinking, why don't they make such beautiful cars anymore? Everything nowadays looks numb, full of angles and edges, instead of timeless simplicity and elegance.
hi rebecca, do you know if those were the optional sports seats? the standard seats look flat and are not comfortable.

That is absolutely true...the entry level has got all the spec but there is a 6 month wait to get one with comes with power folded mirrors & front parking sensors!! There was no other option rather than to go for higher spec models!!!
Big thumbs up for letting us know the fuel consumption you actually got. Pity more youtube reviews didnt do the same.

Sure its based on the 2 series active tourer but did they have to design both cars with that huge auto box selector? Sorry, this car isnt on my want list due to that alone.

Heyyy, I found where Rebecca went after carbuyer.
The new X1 looks so much better than the older model. But as far as the X3 (I drive the 1st gen), it also is much improved and though I don't know about the UK, it is selling well here in the US.

Great review. However, it seems that you have some problems with the sound in your last videos.
Yes, whatever microphone is used when doing the non onscreen narrative is definitively not up to standard with the rest of the production. It sounds like she's sitting in an small echo chamber.

+culinarymatt87 Sound wise? actually yes, I do. The camera work is excellent. Simple and nice. the audio needs works. Rebecca's reviews are some of my favourites and the criticism I make about the sound is because I would like it to be as good as it deserves. In the end they have to compete not with me but with other channels of the same content.
You need to see Rebecca reviewing a 7 seat SUV to appreciate how well she clambers into the third row seats in jeans and those high heel boots 😉

got a 2013 X1. Literally does EVERYTHING well. Beast in the snow too. Got it for very reasonable price also. Boggles my mind why don't see more of them out there.

+Draxler Munoz If you actually like driving, get the X1. If you dont like driving and want to not feel anything, get the evoque. However dont forget the reliability of the land rover/range rover brands...you will spend 6months in the repair shop each year..

I'm sorry but this is not a review. Don't know folks if you understand Italian (and I'm not Italian) but the real review was on Quattroruote's CZcams channel. They described all the characteristics of this fwd car. All the ups and downs... It's worth watching. And have a nice time... :)

Original x1 failed to get good reviews? Bollocks, it was lauded as having the best driving dynamics in the cuv segment, hell it practically started it in the west.

Who would buy an SUV for its driving dynamics? You care mostly about practicality when buying such car, and the old X1 was crap in that department.

I doubt Rebecca ever gets over 40 mpg on anything she drives....she's a race car driver so probably is booting the accelerator on everything she drives!
