In some way it's sad that music industry hasn't found Dan. On the other hand, if YT and other developments hadn't been, there wouldn't have been the slightest chance that someone can make it from their own home studio down in Brazil to impress millions of people all around the world.

I can’t quote Dan directly but from hearing him on podcasts and other times when he speaks on his videos.
He has been approached many times by record company executives. Fortunately he is too savvy to fall into their web. He is definitely his own man. He is not impressed with these people because once you go with them, they own you and he would not have the freedom to do what he wants to do. He is a wise man and doing very well for himself. He has reached millions of people and has over a million subscribers. Dan does all the harmonies himself. He couldn’t be allowed that freedom under the thumb of record companies. He does not need record companies.

It was this G.O.A.T. that gave the singer Steve Perry the nickname “The Voice “ way back in the 80’s. And he Dan has covered Journey flawlessly. He is definitely a phenomenon!

Dan Vasc makes any song that's already good even better with ease. And he covered that song five years ago. Every song he covers is never a copy..... Unique❤️. I so hope he hits "1 million" subscribers today in 2023 and then hits the next million. I like your reactions to Dan Vasc, keep it up, I'll be back 🤟👌👍. Whenever I hear this song I think of that young man singing it on X Factor America and it really makes me laugh and then to hear Dan singing it, there is no comparison, needless to say the poor young man on X Factor couldn’t sing, in fact in the end Simon Cowell told him he didn’t want to hear anymore because he was walking about whispering, I don’t think he knew the words, totally unprepared. I’d love to know what Simon Cowell thinks of Dan, not much I would say because he didn’t discover him, jealousy that’s what it is.

I totally agree with you there! I was born in 1980 and I have listened to ALOT of bon jovi growing up as well because my dad was big into classic old school rock and Dan here just blew it right out of the water! I am not in the least bit disappointed in it and this is the first time I have heard this cover! Also I do and I don't agree with you on what you said about the music business not being the same in that Dan if he'd been born earlier might be the front man of a band - I can agree in part. The music industry has definitely changed over the years - but also I think nowadays an artist has more...ability to take control of the creative process and Dan may just like doing things his own way - I could definitely see an alternative or hard rock band loving to have Dan...I listen to a lot of Bad Omens, Invictus and Beartooth and I can so easily picture Dan in one of those bands and rocking it and it would blow my mind that not a single person hasn't see Dan and perhaps tried to sign him...like, that would be totally unimaginable so I can only infer that they have and Dan just for whatever reason wants to be autonomous maybe?

Your Mama raised you right. Lol. My 1st rock concert actually was Bon Jovi / Cinderella "Slippery When Wet" tour and I still love JBJ. Just for the record, most of us would have run off and married JBJ...but we'd have had to fight Dorothea who had either brown or black belt in karate. I was new to Dan's epicness a few months back & wouldn't entertain even the slightest possibility that he could do Bon Jovi justice (or Steve Perry for that matter). I only a few wks ago decided to, after hearing Dan's other stuff, give his BON Jovi covers the benefit of the doubt. I skipped this song in favor of "Always", though. Absolutely unbelievable how spot-on Dan is with even little JBJ details & inflections. I just had to hear the other songs after that. I recently played Dan's cover of "Always" for 2 of my friends who also love Bon Jovi & had them close their eyes while listening. It stunned them as well. If you haven't heard that one, it's also worth a listen.

This cover was awesome. I'm also a Bon Jovi fan. Dan's first effort wasn't as good but his voice was still very young with not as much power. You could see he definitely had potential and by this version he's grown so much and nailed it. Fast forward to Amazing Grace and his voice and power has grown even more. Just stunning.

What I like is you can tell when he thinks to himself I’ve nailed this one, because there’s a little smirk around the corners of his mouth, that is almost a smile but not quite, it always me smile. I'm guessing I'm from the same era as your mum, DJ, so yeah, I did the 'talky bit' at the beginning in my head as well! And yes, Dan is usually an adorable little labrador of happiness in his talking parts at the end of his videos. I'll admit, I really hope you'll react to his cover of 'Bring Me to Life' by Evanescence - if you think he rocked out to this one, he will blow your mind with that one!

Thx for the reaction. Dan is not a BJ fan - he made a lot of requests from patrons at that time. Also I use to be a BJ fan, saw a total of 13 gigs - the last one was a humangus joke. J has no voice left - it is not age relaterade - Scorpions deliveres .
Bon Jovi pretty much blew out his vocals in giving all for his fans. Likely did not have the training Dan has, which hopefully serves him well into his future.
Your mom must be the same age as me because I grew up, listening to Bon Jovi as well, and all the hairbands love them all. You should listen to him singing always from Bon Jovi. It’s amazing he sounds just like Bon Jovi actually if you close your eyes you hear Bon Jovi.

RIP to the Dream Weaver, Gary Wright. Not sure I have heard of Bon Jovi being referred to as the G.O.A.T. before, but there is certainly an argument for it. I would place about a dozen a little higher, but then, it boils down to personal taste. I might even include Dan in that group.
