I prefer using the eco card to the green card when travelling as it does not have any details so much safer in countries where contactless is still not common.

And yes, if you hold NPR in a balance in your account with us, then you'd automatically use the funds held in that balance whenever you'd make a transaction in Nepal. This way, you'd also avoid having to pay (possibly high) conversion fees when using the card. Having said that, please be aware of the fact that although you'll be able to hold NPR in a balance, that you can't add NPR directly into your account with us. You can, however, still get NPR by converting it from another currency in your account first.
