I love your composition. Yeah it is woven out of themes based on well known pieces .... but I have heard others attempt similar and you have done probably the best job at it I have ever heard! I wish for more composition from you - strings lack interesting composition imo.
Also the sound from your cello teacher there is spectacular isn't it ?!

I just can’t understand why string players don’t start with their bow ready, on the string.
That’s the one thing that drives me crazy in orchestra or chamber music.
That fixes like 99% of sync issues when starting together, that’s the easiest thing to do, and yet they just can’t do it.
Unless you tell me the first chord was written that way, with some notes played a 16th note later, which I highly doubt.
