One question I have, his computer on the 7450 takes him straight of the security stuff while my 7440 took me to a similar screen but with orange and was asking for a hard drive password. What did you do when you came across this?
Thanks for sharing this video ! I watched other videos to get my laptop working again. So many failed attempts. But your video was so detailed. Easy instructions. I was finally able to factory reset my laptop and bypass the Dell Security password. I’m so happy & thankful !! 😊💯

After choosing the option to restore defaults, I then hit F2. I see it looks like the last page you showed after the process was finished. But when I put in an installation CD, it won't run it. So now I have to figure out how to get it to do that.
Let me tell you that it was excellent help, and it works for several models, not only for that dell model, in my case it served to unlock dell precision 5320 and acer, using the same system
