Yet another example of your selfless commitment to serving your community despite having to suffer terrible hardship. 😂 Mouthwatering… Merci!
😂
They do what they have to do… 😂
I love Les Frenchies! You know a food tour is legit when you bring out the knife and wooden board.
😂
Honestly the whole world need a casa croute at 4pm and a delicious pain au chocolat and a nice coffee with it
What a superb day in Paris. Walking around for hours sampling all the pain chocolate. With your own bread board and knife. Heaven...
Hard job, you know, it's not that simple everyday!!! 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Cutting the Pain au chocolat with an Opinel knife. Absolutely French!! I remember my Baguette with camembert and saucisson from my early days in France and in boarding school!! 🙂
You HAVE to have the Opinel ;)
@@frenchxican_a absolument !
I still have my opinel from when I was a kid
Saturday and Les Frenchies! Great start to the day!! ❤
Morning!
Les Frenchies are part of my Saturday morning too. This and the enchanting Gorogoro Kitchen. Despite living in France, I learn more about Paris from these two vlogs than actually visiting Paris. It is a delight!
My Saturday morning ritual too!
Sundays here, but fully agree!
Saturday morning.
Coffee in Bed.
Watching this video with my husband.
He turned to me and in his accent said “ cat-reen, ou mek zuh beat pain Au Chocolat “
I headed to Amazon to order chocolate batons because someone is getting a Valentines treat!!
Great video! Love Silvia just casually walking the streets of Paris with a cutting board and knife!
lol
🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃
They are seriously styling! ❤
Oh my god, a freshly made pain au chocolat and a nice café au lait would be the perfect breakfast.
it is ^^
My daughter found Du Pain et des Idées, on our trip to Paris just when covid hit, nearly exactly to the day, four years ago. It was only 2mins walk from where we were staying. Pain chocolate was our favourite, we visited everyday!!! Lovely people, beautiful shop, devine goodies. ❤ Lovely memories 💖
Sounds amazing! What arrondissement would we find this bakery?
Its in the 10th arrondisement: 34 Rue Yves Toudic, 75010 Paris @@debraenguita6552
love their escargot pastry as well… they have a table outside. should bring butter and the butterknife next time! 😊
@@debraenguita6552 between the 10th and 3rd close to the St Martin canal and Republic square
The Ble Sucre pan au chocolate is my Favorite! I made sure to get there early & got one (as well as their amazing Madeline’s ) for my flight home.
Love the adventure with Silvia, amazing secrets .
she's awesome
What a delicious chocolate croissant. It's joy to the eyes, it's delightful to the appetite.

Hi Colleen and Antoine: Saturday morning - second cup of coffee here in NYC -watching your excellent pain au chocolate boulangerie suggestions! Thanks so much. Enjoy the day and ignore the cranky posts! You always have superb videos and suggestions.
Cheers! ✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️
I love you two! I got to cross Paris off of my bucket list in 2016. It quickly became my favorite city in the world! We had a little bakery right across from our airb&b that allowed me to practice my limited French and get some amazing food! Every Saturday is like a quick trip back to my favorite city! Thanks for making my heart so happy! ✌🏼🤟🏼
We just did a version of her tour yesterday and had such a good time with an amazing guide. Thank you!
*Its always a joy to have the weekend start with a video from you guys! Love of love from Greece, thank you!* 😍
Great content guys. We're staying 3 mins walk from Blé Sucré this coming July. Can't wait!
Positively DROOOOOOOOLING here, thank you!! 😋😋😋😋
My pleasure 😊

Glad you like them!
Headed to Paris on March break with my mom for a girls trip. I just discovered your channel and I'm so obsessed. You're really helping us make the most of our time there!

Magnifique information sur les boulangeries et les magnifiques croissants
Yummmo! I loved the look of the Almond croissant. I’m coming to Paris in September so will definitely try. ❤
Saturday mornings with Les Frenchies, what could be better! I wish I’d had a pain as chocolat to enjoy along with you here at home, but I’ll definitely keep the 4 o’clock time open later this year when I visit again. Merci Colleen, Antoine & Sylvie!
Bon appétit!
How wonderful and thank you for introducing Sylvia, she is a love. Can't wait to get back to Paris!
🤗🤗🤗🤗 thank you !
Wonderful!
These videos are invaluable. Excellent!
Gawwwd !... Miam, miam, 😋I can feel the delicate crunchiness, the soft elastic texture of the inside and the buttery smell until here in the middle of the Swiss Alps, lol.
Thank you 😋
I am a fan of ble sucre and the french bastards. Agreed that fresh out of the oven is amazing and makes a big difference. Really nice list.
Just came by SAIN. Loved the croissants! Thanks for the recommendation ❤
Last summer we stayed at a hotel that was walking distance from le Blé Sucré - I agree it’s awesome! The staff were very friendly and it was nice to sit and eat in the park directly opposite. My only wish (for all bakeries in Paris) would be better coffee!
I agree❣
I know! But there’s a hidden gem for coffee just a couple of blocks out from Blé Sucré ;)
@@frenchxican_aAnd what is the name of this hidden gem?
Seeing this video makes me feel that I am enjoying the walk and the experience walking along with the Frenchies!🩷🥰❤
I know what I am having for breakfast! Merci ❤
Perfect!
Merci!
I need 1 of these in my life today ❤. Lovely video and so well done. 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Ooh la la, merci beaucoup
Thanks!
Thank you
The reason why croissants, pain au choco and anything that is laminated is so good in France is because they use real butter (and good quality) and flour that is not bleached or over processed. They give it time to proof (ferment). In North America, there is LOTS of supermarket products that are using vegetable oils and a ton of additives to speed up the process.
Oh, how I miss Paris! Great choices - These boulangeries have many other stellar treats: The madelines at Blé Sucré, the sandwiches at The French Bastards, and one of my favorite baked goods in Paris is the Mouna at Du Pain et des Idées. Oh, and thier chocolat-pistache escargots. Yum, thank you!!!
Love it ❤❤❤
you guys bring a smile to my face-always. im looking forward to going to a few of these boulangeries in September.
For sure, the Sain and the bakery with chocolate and banana pain. No dinner, just wine, some cheese, and some bread in the beautiful bakery with many prizes in the afternoon. I should walk a lot so as not to gain weight.
Since I’ve subscribed here I’ve learned so much. All the croissants you had looked amazingly delicious. Thanks for pointing out the ‘healthy’ ones 😀as I’d be concerned in how much they’d affect the digestive track but when in Paris do as anyone would give them a try.. Merci 👏👏👏
They are not as heavy as you think! And with all the walking, is a “piece of cake” to digest 🙃
YUMMM. I tried one at Mamiche that was really good too, with Valhrona chocolate. I'm in Paris next week and may need to seek out Sain for that pain au chocolat aux amandes based on your rave reviews!
So good!
Keep up the great good vids
Looks like I'll need to book tours with Silvia and Vincent on my next visit.
for sure!!
Please do! ❤
Where is the link to Sylvia's food tour?
Hello guys!! Fans of your work. Seen so many videos and that is why we will be there towards the end of the month. Would love to treat you to lunch or dinner if not too busy❤. We will show you some new york and dominican hospitality🎉. Keep on the great work guys. We love you!!!
Thank you for all the wonderful videos!
Someday soon I will visit for the first time.
May I hang out with you two?😁
Pain au Chocolat is my go to brekkie choice, along with baguette and jam. Growing up in Australia, banana sandwiches were a staple! A frozen banana covered in chocolate is still an amazing treat. Will download the app for our next trip next year!
These look so good. Sadly I’m in the U.K. but can honestly say my favourite pain au chocolat is from Lidl, I’m addicted ❤❤
Ble Sucre for the pain au chocolat,, then across the park to Le Baron Rouge for oysters and wine. What a Sunday!
Yes! My kind of Sunday :)
This is priceless.
I feel like I’m there with them…all I’m missing is a big bite of pain au chocolate. 😊
I LOVE your videos!!! :)
🥐☕️ 🇫🇷👨🏻🦲🧒🏻Les Frenchies is the best place for Foodies and great Paris tips
My mouth is like Niagra Falls watching this!😊
That almond paste on the croissant looks amazing !
This is always on my list of things to find in Paris! 😅❤
@lesFrenchiesTravel I would love to see a review on the bouillon places in Paris!
Taking notes for my second trip to Paris next year. I may contact Sylvia. She has a great attitude and informative. Thanks for another wonderful video.
Please do!
Fabulous!
Bonjour Antoine and
Coleen. I thought I knew about croissants before I went to Paris. Then I experienced pain au chocolat. But this video opened new doors that I will experience when I return. Thank you for such delicious entertainment on a Saturday morning. Merci beaucoup 😊
😀
Super❤
Pain au chocolat aux amandes is my favourite!
Congrats on the 200K viewers!! That's a very big deal!
And in callback to one of the other recent episodes, the Opinel folding knife makes an appearance!
good catch 😉
Delicious 😋
You know you guys make my day. Praises!
We just finished our week vacation in Paris…your tips were very helpful! My favorite thing I ate in Paris was the sweet bread at Aux Merveilleux de Fred!
That is awesome!
That is amaaaaazing! There’s a Merveilleux stop on my Off the beaten path tour (near Blé Sucré)
Me parece que el primero que estaba dorado y con mantequilla y el que tenía almendras, me parecen los mejores. Me encantan sus videos Saludos!
Silvia's @frenchxican_a is THE BEST Food tour Guide in Paris! Last summer we took her food tour around the beautiful Marché d'Aligre and we can't recommend it enough:
everything was delicious and Silvia is very nice, warm and professional 👏👏👏
Thank you ❤❤❤
I have a few from Lidl in my kitchen now. I’m in NY so I’ll have to settle for these.
Super vidéo ! Ca serait super intéressant que vous partagiez le prix de chaque produit que vous dégustez :)
Oui..bien sur..pain au chocolat..mon prefere aussi! Vote location what Colleen said. 😊
They all looked so delicious
Oh....yes!
Oh how I would love to eat one
AMAZING ❤
Our first trip in April can't come fast enough 🤤
LOVE IT ❤❤❤
Every time I go to paris, I have a list of restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, events, and sites I add onto a Google map where I have them all pinned. This map has shown all the places I’ve gone to every time I go to paris and I’ve been going back every year for the last decade. The map is quite filled now, and lots of your suggestions have ended up on my map. Du pain et des idées was the last Boulangerie I went to in paris! Me and my friends also ate at that exact same counter outside. The pain au chocolates were indeed the bomb.
Lovey🥰‼️❤️❤️❤️
Still one of my favorite pastries at 48... that and a chausson aux pommes
Things that make you go…Mmmm 😋
We love watching your videos over a nice cup of coffee. Antoine seemed a bit serious about the pain au chocolat/chocolatine topic, Colleen if I were you I would refer it as chocolatine just to poke fun at him. Love you guys ☺
What a enviable job you both have! ….. taste testing pain au chocolat, yum!
😋
Let go 🎉
They all look yummy.
Amazing!
Can’t wait to have them all with my coffee 😉
Almost 200.000 subscribers 🤞🤞🤞
9 days we will be back in Paris, full week this time. Thanks for all of your suggestions .
ITS ASONG 🎉❤
You had me at chocolate.
