As a daughter who grew up with a narcissistic mother who refuses to put my brothers into therapy I can tell you one of the main reasons she will never acknowledge. Like,I don't understand why people always blame Ginny. First of all, she's a teenager who came to know that her mother is not the person she thought she was. Even her real name is different. Even if Georgia keep all these secrets to save her children,it wasn't helping. She was always trying to neglect her kids' wrong sides, like I remember a scene where Ginny asks why Georgia is not punishing her and she just cancels her. We can see that Ginny knew what she did was wrong and was expecting to be punished or to be corrected by her mom but instead she so that her mom brushed it off which is not at all a healthy behaviour. Moreover, she realised that her mother is dangerous when she's threatened and can go to any ends but she never trusts her own daughter with her secrets ,which might be very disappointing and exhausting for a young girl.. I know Georgia has done a lot to raise her but the thing is, Ginny was really young back then and she probably doesn't remember any of these. Imagine you get to know traumatic backstories of your mother's life on a regular basis. As much as I love the character Georgia,I don't see the point in blaming Ginny all the time. She's just a teenager after all ,what else do you expect???
Ginny's the one talking about Austin's though. Georgia made it about herself. She said "my life" and Ginny had to correct her about it being Austin's life. She's literally thinking of her brother not herself, so I don't think your statement makes much sense in this situation.

Everybody in the comments saying oh Ginny is right, yada, yada, yada.Austin Literally said I don’t want to go to therapy, it doesn’t matter what Georgia or Ginny says, it matter what Austin says.
I do believe Austin needs therapy but Ginny is not considerate nor does she know hpw to properly speaking, and always has to bring something else when a discussion is going on...
I will admit, Ginny was right in this but the way she said it, and the way she didn’t know about Georgia was what was wrong. A totally different topic about Ginny but she always complains about Georgia not telling Ginny about her life but whenever she says the smallest things about her life Ginny takes advantage of that and uses it against her
She didn't say anything about herself. She's been talking about Austin and the kid who got stabbed. Plus, depending on how and where someone is stabbed, it could be very serious if left untreated. That's still an injury. In fact, the only thing she really said about herself in this scene was her questioning who she can trust.
Not this particular scene But i really hate ginny, she makes things all ab her when there not. She does not realize how hard Georgia had to works to make ginny have a good childhood, like the one she never had. Ginny takes that for granted.
Why is Ginny getting so involved like Georgia was talking to Austin about the not trusting Maddie thing and then Ginny thinks she’s talking to her and tries to force herself to have issues and be the victim but also Georgia was making the issue about herself a little bit and I don’t see the harm in trying therapy but if he dosent wanna go they shouldn’t force it
I think Ginny is looking out for her little brother but her imperfections and attitude makes me feel like is the most shitty daughter that exists because if anyone I know talked to their moms like that or looked LOOKED at their moms the way Ginny does they would be grounded for life and when their dead.
Ginny was so annoying here but Austin is so cute and doesn’t deserve all these problems he’s been given Ginny has a point he does need help but I also feel bad for Georgia cause she genuinely is trying her best
Naw Georgia was right "Her life" although it is Austin's life When he goes to therapy and tells them about how he stabbed a kid and stuff then the therapist I going to be questioning Georgia's life. Ginny is so mean to Georgia she’s done so much for her
Everybody in the comments saying oh Ginny is right, yada, yada, yada.Austin
Literally said I don’t want to go to therapy, it doesn’t matter what Georgia or Ginny says, it matter what Austin says.
GINNY IS SO ANNOYING OML
Fr though
I do believe Austin needs therapy but Ginny is not considerate nor does she know hpw to properly speaking, and always has to bring something else when a discussion is going on...
ginny is literally right why are you guys defending georgia lmao shes crazy
Georgia has a lot of trauma, she’s not crazy
I will admit, Ginny was right in this but the way she said it, and the way she didn’t know about Georgia was what was wrong. A totally different topic about Ginny but she always complains about
Georgia not telling Ginny about her life but whenever she says the smallest things about her life Ginny takes advantage of that and uses it against her
Ginny always thinks it's about her, My sister stabbed a kid in the hand before nothing else happened
She didn't say anything about herself. She's been talking about Austin and the kid who got stabbed. Plus, depending on how and where someone is stabbed, it could be very serious if left untreated. That's still an injury. In fact, the only thing she really said about herself in this scene was her questioning who she can trust.
Not this particular scene
But i really hate ginny, she makes things all ab her when there not.
I don’t get why Ginny is always so rude to Georgia like what did Georgia ever do but help and support her
I feel like all of them need therapy.
It would be hard to trust Georgia.
Naw Georgia was right "Her life" although it is Austin's life When he goes to therapy and tells them about how he stabbed a kid and stuff then the therapist I going to be questioning Georgia's life. Like what did the mom do and stuff that Austin is like this. And although Ginny annoying ass is right about him having to go to therapy Georgia needs to make sure she stays out of jail for her children because, at the end of the day, Georgia will be the one saving her children.
Guys seriously ginny was right this time he has to go to therapy Georgia is so wrong this time
Ginny is a much better person than Georgia
This was one of the times I actually agreed with Ginny that’s ridiculous stabbing a nine y/o??
Does no one seee where she is coming from at all and yes the mom two it’s not just that doesn’t make her a bad daughter be in her spot
bro in this scene ginny is being a good older sister fr I mean yeah I get it she is annoying but not I'm this scene.
