2020 Greco-Turkish War | Alternative Scenario

- After the 8th of October 2020, when Turks opened the ghost town of Varosia, in Northern Cyprus, multiple incidents took place between Greek and Turkish militaries. After the deadliest of them (26 deaths), in which Greco-Cypriots fired against Turks with heavy artillery, the Turkish presidency in Ankara decides to declare war on Greece and Cyprus.
This event escalates into another deadly conflict between these two countries.

This is a movie I have been working on since February, with probably dozens of hours spent to it, together with the information, texts, animation and the editing. This is my most detailed and well done video I have probably made until now. Although it will gather a lot of hate for obvious reasons... 🗿 This video was also heavily inspired by many mappers but especially from TheTerrorByte in CZcams.

Greece population is less than Istanbul's population. That's beyond impossible to happen. Especcially when Turkey has around 50 million manpower. Also, we did see what exactly happened in past wars both sides had in the last 100 years didn't we? I say this by reading books older than me, not by facebook pages where they claim greece is stronger than a country which has 8 times more population than greece. But the video title says it's a "alternative scenario" so I guess the person who made this video tried to make something that can't happen.

Do you mean just in the Greco-Turkish war or throughout all of history? I think it was inevitable, as Turks migrated to Anatolia during the reign of the Byzantine empire.
Greece taking over Eastern Thrace all the way to the Turkish straits is possible especially with French help. Greece taking over parts of Turkey proper (the Asian part of Turkey which is most of Turkey) I do not think so since it would be hard to defend. However, a war between Greece and Turkey could see the Kurds and other groups in central and eastern Turkey try to create there own nation.
All the French are doing is selling junk to Greeks by making the Greeks think they are with Greece , the French hate Turks because Turks are waking up all of the Africa and Middle eastern Country's that French have bean sucking their blood for century's , but they are not going to war with Turks for Greece , take my ward for it , the British did the same thing to the Greeks during the first world war but the Greeks again forget so soon .

This video is a replica of the Greek victories in the Greco-Turkish war 1919-1920. After the independence of the Republic of Turkey, the Greeks from Turkey went to Greece, and vice versa. It makes no sense for Greece to attack Izmir when the majority is Turkish.

Although I would change the word "exterminate", because it is a heavy word that means "destroy" or "annihilate" and there was no killing of Turks in the video. turkey is an artificial state without any ethnic homogenous group but several ethnic groups which will sooner or later seek autonomy and break off of turkey, first will be the biggest group , the kurds.
greece is not strong enough to fight a war with turkey and most of all the usa will not allow greece to do anything , just like they ordered the stand down in the cyprus crisis, which could have been easily solved by the greek military which was much stronger than the turk, but the turks had the ok from britain and usa so north of cyprus got occupied and today we still have this illegal occupation.

You are mad.Greece cannot defeat Turkey even if France help Greece.
Hate to break it but this wouldn’t actually happen. Most likely in summary the Greeks would get support from France and the U.S alongside other nations, the Greeks at the beginning would be on a defensive front but over time the Turks with little trade would be forced to fall back as the Turkish Navy and Air Force is taken out. Then Greece pushes in Cyprus and maybe Thrace with the now superior Greek army with Air superiority. The most Greece could get to is Adrianople. The war would be a minor Greek victory in which Turkey withdraws from Cyprus. Greek morale and stability would be increased and I could see Greece modernize more and take care of the aging population and Turkey losing Kurdistan and a Turkish coup, revolution, or even a civil war. Not only that but the Turkish economy would take a beating making the Turkish economy even worser with inflation. However this is just one of many exactly. Don’t take this as facts but as a hypothesis.
My friend, you probably don't know Turkey's autonomy and unity status. In a possible war, nato will cut off support from whoever starts war first, also Turkey as an army will be in a more modern situation and when countries like America, France, Russia and China will support Turkey, Turkey on the main front, maybe on the Meriç River. can advance but thessaloniki stands in front of them and defends on both sides, the real war is on the islands and cyprus, turkey captures a few islands and greece defends the islands, the war in cyprus is under Turkish rule and because greece is further away and the army to allocate there is less air budget turkish cyprus will be occupied, turkey will take Thrace in a possible peace agreement, cyprus will be turkified, there will be little change on the islands, but the Greek economy will not suffer too much

It would be really interesting if you also included other countries like north macedonia, albania, serbia etc to this conflict. But that would make the video really long... I saw the video as a regular viewer and not a Greek, and wouldn't care less for the outcome. The only thing that matters is watching a good video! Allthough it makes me happy with its happy ending about reclaiming konstantinoupoli , its not reallistic at all but i must say u had implemented some impresive details in this scenario. PS : In a scenario were greeks and turks will fight i can guarantee you that all major countries will get involved and war will stop immediately.
