Unfortunately, it seems Broken Anvil has allegedly had some poor business practices, and fulfilment of this kickstarter is unlikely. We were sent some paints to review, and had no other arrangement with Broken Anvil, however Murray genuinely loved the paints, its a shame we wont be seeing them in the future. We hope anyone who has been effected by this can recoup their invested money.

We were disheartened to hear what had allegedly occurred within the closed doors of Broken Anvil. We had been fans of their products in the past. Beyond being sent this paint set to review, we had no arrangement with Broken Anvil, and Murray just liked the paints.
The Paints KS has shipped all of their US orders and is now beginning shipping out international ones. So while delayed, not completely MIA either.
Love the way Murray paints. He just chucks thick paint down which shouldn’t work but the results are amazing. We are so used to Painters carefully painting tiny bits at a time. It’s so refreshing.
That dwarf model looks absolutely stunning. Always love seeing Murray's work!
You need a replacement light in the TTT room.

So glad you had fun! With the contrast application - you gotta apply a LOT at once and let it dry, you'll get amazing results :D

whoah! That first blue+yellow mix makes a damn good green! I'm used to artist acrylics more than anything (as opposed to model paints) and getting a good green with basic acrylic colors is surprisingly difficult

Cool and warm tone white and black is something i never thought i need.

I’m so sad that these paints won’t ever get made now. Paired with big gratitude that I was able to get a refund for the paint KS, and at least partial for forged 🙁

I really enjoyed this. I would actually really love a bit of an in-depth video on basic colour theory for miniatures, and how to paint in the Murray method. I really want to give it a try, but I don't quite understand art theory enough to know what I'm doing.

Ive always been curious about the world's fascination with Red Solo Cups. Here in America they are literally just a cheap cup you throw away later. It has evolved into a meme... a treasure. Aussies, Brits, the Japanese, and many others, all put these cups next to their fancy dishware, beaming with pride on a job well done procuring such a legendary chalice.

Am I the only one that thinks the edits have been a bit choppy at times? There are several times when there were two or three cuts for a single sentence.

Yeah same tho lol. Not as local, but Western WA and have the same idea haha. As soon as I saw it was a RIP lol. Was the same when I found a local alcohol ink company too when looking for those.

At first I was pretty skeptical, but wow, those look pretty nice! I like having both the warm and cool tones, and I love the names like Warm White, but Red 4 is not great. The versatility is kinda shocking too.

Literally got the email about this upcoming crowd funding today and was like "more paint, sigh..." and now i'm pulling that email out of my "trash" folder and considering backing... lol.. nice job with the demo and the idea of those warm vs cold additives sounds fantastic. argh! lol...
Interesting. Some of those paints look great, but I'm not quite convinced about their dual-use feature. I guess I'll have to try them out myself!

You could tone down the cuts in the editing a bit. Just because the youth(?) watches TikTok doesn’t mean rest of us appreciate having the natural break between every single word cut away 😅

sounds like a range that's relying on a fairly educated user. which is fine as long as the info necessary to get the most use and enjoyment out of the purchase of the paints is communicated clearly from the manufacturer both to retailers (who'll hopefully pass it on, especially in online product copy) and directly to the customers.
hope it doesn't get review bombed (much as i don't really subscribe to that term), like some other paint ranges from certain companies, who then had to learn to communicate their intended use cases better etc, or just outright reformulate their product...
Breaking News!! Paint is paint, and can be used by painters!!! In all seriousness the paints do seem quite interesting.

The contrast effect just isn't there heaps of company's offer a good contrast alternative now that's cheaper
