For everyone that keeps asking about Favonius for Support - it’s worse than Black Tassel, except you get the energy recharge substat. Would not recommend, especially if you’re running double Geo because Zhong ult is only 40 energy.

I would love to see xiao next. I put on 2 piece bloodstained and two piece viridescent. I assume that is a viable option for main dps? Compared to glad+viridescent?
favounius compared to black tassel give self sustain burst spam, whle black tassel gives a bit higher number which will loose in DPS as while favounius can consistently spam burst tassel will have high downtime especially against solo enemy
@@ElenisCZ I have r5 lvl 90 fav lance and i burst like every 4 - 6 seconds. Kinda lacking in damage i only hit 80 k if it crits but burst spamming is fun.
@@troymisagal i have 100% uptime on Burst and eachtime it deals around 50 k so i could say i have dps since i can spam it

@@Hadesedah i used lance for xiangling and i knew i will lose 50/50 and lose it afterall but got zhongli in 20 ıt's surprise to me and got luckily dragons bane for xiangling sometimrs my luck explode

Just fyi, 25k hp is enough for his shield to tank almost everything so don't overinvest in his hp. Go to crit and cdmg too
im sorry but at what wl is this and at what level shield because at wl8 with 45k hp zhong shield lvl 9 it still gets broken at times

I want to thank you for the work you put into this video it's very informative for those of us who want to build Zhong Li. I honestly didn't know what was best for him as a dps until I saw this video so thank you for that. Most videos you see about Genshin are not very informative for the f2p and/or low spending player base since almost every Genshin youtuber is a whale and are rockin a 5 star weapon refined to rank five with C6 version of that character. Typically I avoid and immediately stop watching those videos the second I see a 5 star weapon and anything past C0 because as a low spending player myself. Those weapons and constellations do make a huge difference in gameplay and tbh I'm probably never going to attain those weapons and anything past c0 for 5 stars since the weapon banners are a huge trap and I'm a low spending player so those videos are of no interest to me. So again thank you so much for taking into account every weapon in this video it is greatly appreciated. I guess you're just built different.

About Geo Daddy I'm using as a support with the Skyward Spine (the Primordial Jade Winged Spear is for Hu Tao, yes I got both spears in the first days of the game on standard banner, I'm pissed those days because I only spend on Welkin and BP) I'm using him with Noelle as a main dps (C6) and double pyro, literally they can handle everything in the world content, in abyss I'm stuck on 11-2 for now 🙃

1:22 The reason why 2pc blood+ 2pc Glad wins because you are using crescent pike, the passive scales with physical dmg bonus. If you are using any other polearm then 4pc glad or 4pc bolide will output more damage.
Yeah I figured as much. Still, the combination is the highest possible DPS.

im curious, were the artifacts for these tests exactly the same?
the thing about blackcliff vs black tassel for support is that blackcliff has a crit damage sub stat. if you opt for black tassel, youre gonna have to work much harder on your artifacts to build crit. so black tassel is better for shield while blackcliff is better for damage, assuming you dont change your artifacts at all.

I have 6 polearm prototyoes so would that make a difference with the prototype star glitter for support zhongli. I’m gonna use him as support but I still want his ult to hit decently hard. Should just go black tassel then (I don’t have the other polearms)? I’m thinking of using it until i can get a favonius lance maybe. Im also using an HP sand so should I switch to atk sands if I go the black tassel route?
I'm curious, whats the damage difference between a 2pc bloodstained 2pc bolide setup vs a 4pc Bolide setup? The former is what I'm running right now just because of artifacts available and its pretty comfy.

this really is the most helpfull guide to decide wich set to go for my main dps Zhong .. I ran a 4 piece Glad but I may farm for the 4 Piece bolide for a better shield and just a tiny little bit less damage :D really thx for this good guide
HP Geo HP does surprisingly good damage, even outperforming crit headpiece. Nice.
3 things to note with the physical part of the calculations
1:after in zhonglis case of somewhere around 2000-2100 atk retracing bolide becomes better then 2p glad and bloodstained, the fact that atk is only 60% of his dmg in alot of hits attacks and makes physical scale(all chars that only relay off atk for stuff ratio with crescent pike and physical cup for the retracing vs 2p glad and bloodstained is roughly base atk x 2.31 for the break range of when that changes out) so litraly applying a bennett ult or in half the cases i can think of with food is over the break point
2:there is a small scue i would say that actually favors dragonspine spear closer to crescent pikes in a team setting because you arnt 100% being out on the field to take advantage of crescents dmg well dragonspine has a burst hit that if applying the cryo hit(if your doing super conduct not impossible, almost consistent if its ganyu) can get it closer
3:crescent pikes bonus to get its max potentiol is all about getting to the multi hit. now zhong litraly can ignore hits because how strong his shield is, but if your doing cases that you actually need to dodge and reset, since you cant get the multi hit, the dragonspine spear actually does harder per hit when you dont include the spin kick.(i think the % break point for this is 43%? talent multi, im still trying to wrap my head on the exact number but its roughly that for 22k HP) infact if you ever manage to get to talent lvl 9, this is actually in favor of dragonspine
the one issue i got with the calc is you cant customise the what point in combos you want to get upto which also refines the exact dps numbers for the individual stuff like canceling at the kick
