Another fun video! I cried when Hopper died and cried when Mat blew the horn as well! To answer your question, the horn summons all the dead heroes of legends. They only showed the 20 main heroes, but there were thousands. The show made the change that Mat remembered his past lives from blowing the horn. This speeds up a few of his character arcs and set him up for what he’s going to do in season 3. Mat is one of my favorite characters. He is powerful in his own way. I’m hoping the show will do him justice.

In the books it's just a little over 100 heroes of the horn. It's even remarked how few there are, but it's a pretty rare thing to be tied to the horn.

Hopper's death always gets me. In the books it happened in the first book, so all readers were dreading it the moment they saw Hopper on screen.

Moghedien is crazy! I LOVE the show’s depiction of her. Her name in the Old Tongue means “Spider” because she works from the shadows and is the master of setting traps. That was how she caught Lanfear in the web. Although she is the weakest of the Forsakens, her strength is at the same level as Nynaeve, before Nynaeve reaches her full potential.
Again, thank you for another fun reaction.

Just mentioning that Moghedien at the end used the same magic as Lanfear and Moiraine, it's just that her way of using it resembles a spiderweb. You can see clear differences in how the different channelers use their magic. Rand's is quite chaotic and a bit rugged, Ishamael's weaves in the opening of Ep4(?) when he release Lanfear are very smooth, ordered and precise. Moghedien's weaves resembles a Spiderweb to mimic her nickname The Spider.

Mat's arc is different in the books, this season was a whole rewrite after the initial Mat actor left the show before the first season was done. So they had to modify his story. I think they gave him a terrific new arc where Ishy and Fain were working to make Mat believe he was destined to harm his friends and that he was just an awful person in every life, only to find out he was actually really one of the heroes of the horn. This will likely get Mat to roughly were he ends up in the books, but there's some more stuff to go to get him to fully realize what makes his character cool. Needless to say he's a fan favorite so we're all waiting with fingers crossed. But for Mat and the rest we'll have to just WAFO (watch and find out)...

    About Mat.
References and differences to the books regarding Mat but not revealing anything you haven't already seen in the show. A bit of extra info about the Horn which I doubt will be a Spoiler but, adding Spiler-warning rows just in case!

So in the books Mat is not a Hero of the Horn, at least I can't remember it is ever mentioned if he is or not. He is just a very important character to the Wheel and a Ta'veren, which Padan Fain mentioned in the Finale of Season 1. Ta'verens are basically focal points of the Wheel where Randomness just happens a lot more than usual. Coins landing on their sides ten times in a row, people will reveal secrets they never intended to, etc.
It is basically a device for the Author to bend rules and make the heroes get out of impossible situations by making wierd things happen to make the good guys win. Maybe a pidgeon swoops by to catch a worm and gets hit by an arrow that could catch a Protagonist in the back. It is not perfect as with every Random event it can instead be very bad. The Wheel of Time is a lot about Balance after all.
The Horn is also never really explained in the books as no one really knows who made it or why.
It seems that it was made long ago, several turnings of the Wheel ago (meaning things and events have happened the same/similar way over and over during its existence). No one know how long ago, or by whom or why it was made. No one knows who can become part of the Heroes of the Horn.
It is possible that Uno was already part of the Horn but just out in the world as a regular person (The souls of the Heroes do get spun out into the world as regular non-Hero people). Some fans speculate that Uno's role when being part of the Horn is to keep it safe. The Wheel knew that The Final Battle was coming and so started to spin out useful pieces on the board to hopefully give the Good team enough of an advantage, and that Uno's role was to protect and defend the Horn, so the Wheel spun his soul out to help keep the Horn away from the bad people. But that's just headcannon of bookfans.
