Not a fan of the ancient golem. I mean... the asset itself is utterly amazing and I love it, but in terms of Free For The Month I'm definitely not happy because even if I had a project _{I do not }_ where I could consider the possibility of using it, how could I use it considering it's an asset already featured in a project Epic used to showcase the game-changing potential of UE5 when it had its own debut!???
I know we can make a similar consideration about ay asset due to the fact so many people buy them and use them, but in this case we're talking about an Epic featured project.. Dunno, my thought about it might be wrong.
The cathedral asset looks absolutely stunning indeed, love the materials and despite I have no project where the cathedral itself can be used and make sense but those materials and the environment parts are definitely something I can use in one of my projects. Definitely my favourite Free For The Month asset among these 5.
The cartoonist stylized asset is not my kinda thing but I believe there might be a few features in there which can be applied to a completely different design style so might reveal to be a precious gem hidden in the mud to experiment with.
In general I wished there was an asset I could one on top of my wishlist _{I've been waiting the entire month with trepidation just like every month but who doesn't after all?}_ so I cannot hide my disappointment, they could have picked a different character _{I was hoping in something with character customizing system}_ at least.
Anyway... in the past they were used to release even a Permanently Free asset alongside the 5 Free For the Month, which usually was so good to overshadow any of those 5 Free For The Month asset at least for me. It seems they have stopped doing that.
Luckily the release of the official 5.4 and its related assets _{just can't wait to discover how hood or useful those 500+ animations will be!}_ is very close now and that alone makes me incredibly happy.
