no one cares because it isn't even based on a real story...it is "inspired" by a tennis match.

It would be funny if a class action lawsuit got filed for fake trailers that are misleading. They really pushed it as a sex drama but anyone who seen how Zendaya ruined the 1 time her character would've been forced to be nude by drug dealers she magically was the only 1 in the room not made to strip ruining all tension & effect, then u would've know she aint getting nude & its likely some bs 😂.

Something I thought was intentional and fits with the tennis theme is how the past and present scenes literally go back and forth like a tennis match
It's unfortunate that this film will only be remembered for its stupid misleading trailers, as it actually has a decent plot.
I haven’t seen the film yet but I’m confused, were people not seeing the same trailers I saw? I didn’t get any hint that it was some sex movie. If anything it gave love triangle sports film.

Yeah definitely count me as one of those people who saw all the posters of Zendaya between two guys, and immediately thinking it's a sex drama with lots of three-ways lol...that is so misleading. Not to mention the director usually incorporates sex in his films.
I just saw the movie. It has A LOT of sexual tension, but very little actual "sex." It kind of worked in the movie's favor, tbh as that unresolved tension added to the intensity, backstabbing and betrayal that permeated the entire movie.
Yeah, there's very little sex present here but it's probably the most horn dog movie in existence. It's great.
I have a theory… I think if Zendaya wasn’t casted as the lead, then it would have been more sex filled. But once she joined the cast and became the producer, they tamed it down.

It was filmed like a tennis match, literally lol. That's why it was doing the back and forth. It threw me as well and usually I don't like it but I really enjoyed the creative style once I was able to keep up and realized they were filming it to match a tennis match.
Never understood why misleading marketing angers so many people.

Once I saw that Movie with her and J D Washington, I knew what her future Roles would portray her as. When I saw the Trailer, I was instantly turned off, even though I had enough sense to know that the Movie would be more than what was being presented. Zendaya wants to do more Adult Roles, but she ain't about to go full ELIZABETH BERKLEY in Showgirls. At least not yet. I'll still take a HARD PASS on this one.

This movie was so good! I cannot wait to watch it again. The passion that Tashi has for tennis. The journeys between these 3s lives. I think it was a cool way to represent competition.

I just saw the movie and while it kept me in my seat, I had to go to a movie forum on Reddit to get what the ending meant. It was my 2nd Zendaya movie and I can see why she's a force in the movie business. The camera loves her. But I didn't buy that she was 31 years old and still manipulating two men 13 years later. If she was in her 20s pitting the two against each other, I could believe it.
This movie was really good. If you’re going for wild s** scenes you’ll be greatly disappointed lol. But for a 2hr movie it never really loses its energy. The two guys are great but I had trouble believing Zen sometimes.

There is no explicit sex in this movie. They definitely marketed it as that but make no mistake, sex was very much a big part of this movie. I needed a cigarette by the end. Zendaya’s character doesn’t love these boys. She loves the competition. She’s the ball, they’re the rackets.

I think it is a VERY sexy movie, old men just aren't the target audience. for young women in their 20s 30s - this film is basically sex. men grunting as they pass the ball back and forth was hot enough, not to add the amount of tension between the characters.

Was definitely intrigued by the trailer. I was impressed by the movie. Great chemistry between the actors. Some odd music choices but most were fun and unexpected. I actually didn't mind the ambiguous ending for this one. All 3 are so fkd up and fascinating.
