Looks good except I would be concerned that the unit is mounted with tape. These vehicles are made for the bush - rough tracks will shake the unit loose in a few years and it will be rattling around behind the dash. Can it be mounted on properly with screws?
Great video, but wish it didn’t use the NAV would prefer it it was the AUX function. Also does it allow wireless CarPlay?
And also can you decrease and increase the volume through the screen?
Does the voice command button on the steering wheel work on carplay or stay on oem voice rec?
I have a 2019 hybrid RAV4 it has mirror link which is an older system would Android auto only work if I install this module?
Where are you guys located and is there anyway wireless CarPlay can be connected? Keen to have this installed

paul rodgers We get them from our supplier but you can find them online. USB flush mount :).

G'day guys just ordered this kit, does the flush mount usb come with the kit?
Question, when you press NAV to enter Carplay, does it reset to the default Toyota OEM view when the vehicle is shut-down and re-started? Just wondering if you need to hold NAV every time the vehicle is started.
That’s great. I want one. Good job. Why did you not utilise the existing USB next to the gear stick? It already is connected to the original stereo
The module doesn’t work with the factory port so you need to add one :)
What does that little speaker do?

Thanks for the video. Any concerns or things to consider when installing on 2021 Land Cruiser in US (not sure if components or wiring is different based on where land cruiser is sold?) also, do all items shown in video come in package on your website? Thank you in advance.
Yep it’ll work fine as long as your screen is the exact same as this one. Some 2021 models have a screen the sits a little higher at the top of the dash. You can flick me an email with a photo and I’ll confirm. Info@aesonline.com.au

Great video. I just installed EmuWing windows in my 200 and lost my radio reception due to the windows containing the antenna. Does the 200 radio have a standard antenna Jack that I could tap inside the dash, or is there some other type of antenna I’d need? Thanks for your help.
you’ll need an antenna adapter for that one

nohitjapan The rear screens have HDMI input right?
The problem with these system ( all brands , I’ve tried them all ) is the sound quality, sounds come out of the system bypass plug and play to a 3mm or 3.5’m input. If you are not crazy about the sound quality you won’t even notice it , but I went through 4 brands and ended up leaving everything stock.
Besides that , everything works great. The one I liked the best was beat sonic , but they are all the same.
What were the other brands of modules you used? How much of a difference would you say there is with the audio on a scale of 1-10?
I believe one of the other brand was nifty city.. they both input audio through aux jack. But honestly it’s worth sacrificing a little bit of sound quality ( that many won’t even notice ) for Waze and Spotify.

Looking to get a unit for my 2018 Sahara, will this support all factory Steering wheel control, reverse and 360 cameras, and play Netflix onto rear displays without any additional cable or connectors thx.
Yes to all of the above but you need connectors when installing the unit for the RSE (all behind main radio)

So this will apply CarPlay only, it will not affect other features correct? For example 360 camera

Kinda ridiculous to install aftermarket electronics on a $85,000 plus vehicle. Toyota really has lost customer focus.
It's 2005 tech for the first generation 200 series mate and Toyota won't be update it until the 300 series.
$85k? I paid $120k for my 2020 Sahara and I still didn’t get car play and I bought a $10 phone holder so I could use google maps because Toyota gps is so shit. Apparently Toyota fitted car play to all 2020 Toyota’s except the Land Cruiser of course. Go figure.
